At the same time, it is necessary to constantly pull the net coat and let the eel move in the cage to prevent the eel from squeezing at the bottom of the net and suffocating to death.

When the temperature is high in summer and autumn, the eel should be cooled by ice water, and the temperature is generally controlled at 15-20 ℃. Through cooling, the activity ability of the eel is significantly weakened, so that the eel is not easy to be injured during selection, and the speed of selection can be accelerated.

3. Selection steps and methods

The selection of adult eel is generally selected by hand, and the manual selection is carried out on the eel separator. When selecting, the eels that have been cooled are first poured into the eel-collecting trough of the selector, then the small moving door on one side of the eel-collecting trough is opened to allow the eels to swim out slowly, and the operators sort them according to the specifications required by the plan. the eels of each grade are collected into the pre-set cage through their own channels. In order to facilitate the eel to swim to the cage, the eel distributor should be tilted slightly to the pond.

4. Several problems needing attention in separate culture of adult eel

The separate cultivation of ⑴ adult eel should be carried out in cloudy and rainy days, where the temperature is lower and the air humidity is high, so the eel is not easy to be injured in operation. When the weather is fine in summer, separate and nourish should be carried out in the early morning or evening, do not operate in direct sunlight.

Eel species do not need to be disinfected after ⑷ separate culture, but those who encounter obvious abrasions, diseases or long transportation distance should be disinfected with drugs. Eels are generally fed with sulfonamides for 3 to 5 days, and the drugs are mixed into the feed.
