Fishery Science and Technology Cooperation Network: 100 key achievements of Aquatic Science and Technology
At the 2007 National Fisheries Science and Technology Cooperation Network meeting, which ended today, a declaration on jointly promoting the "Ten actions" was issued to the national fishery science and technology community, and 100 key achievements of fishery science and technology were introduced and released to the public.
It is reported that 100 achievements in aquatic science and technology cover such disciplines as conservation and development of resources, cultivation of aquatic varieties, healthy aquaculture, prevention and control of aquatic diseases, quality and safety of aquatic products, fishery equipment and engineering, and so on. there are not only national-level achievements in high and new technology and promoting independent innovation, but also important achievements in solving key technical problems to meet the needs of industrial development. There are also popular achievements aimed at actual production and meeting the needs of fishermen.
Wei Chaoan, vice minister of the Ministry of Agriculture, fully affirmed the work done by the Collaborative Network in the past five years at the meeting. He stressed: in the coming period, it is necessary to consider the overall situation and strategic point of view of modern fishery development, pay close attention to the major technological needs of fishery development, determine the direction of scientific and technological innovation, and carry out research on core technologies in the fishery field.
Zhang synthetic, president of the Chinese Academy of Fisheries Sciences, made a report on developing large-scale cooperation in science and technology, promoting the integration of industry, university and research, and jointly promoting the "ten major actions." At the meeting, the heads of more than 20 enterprises and research institutes held the launching ceremony of "industry-university-research cooperation to build a modern mariculture industry base group in Shandong Peninsula".
