Dry disinfection, every 667m2 pond with quicklime 50~80kg, the pond must leave 5~10cm deep water, so that the lime can be evenly distributed; with water disinfection, every 667m2 pond (average water depth 1m) with quicklime 120~150kg, the lime block is required to spread evenly, and the whole pond is fully stirred to enhance the disinfection effect.
3. Fertilize the water quality. 5-6 days after disinfection with quicklime, the pond can be irrigated and fertilized. Pig, cow dung 500~750kg or human dung 100~200kg was applied every 667m2 to fertilize the pond water and increase the bait organisms in the water to meet the feeding needs of fish.
4. Release the fish early. Early release of fish species can enable fish to adapt to the new environment, eat and grow earlier. From the Winter Solstice to the Beginning of Spring is the best season for releasing fish species, because during this period, the air temperature and water temperature are relatively low, the fish scales are tight, and it is not easy to hurt the fish body in the fishing and stocking operation, which can reduce the morbidity and mortality of fish species. The release of fish species should be carried out in warm weather. When the temperature is too low, it is easy to frostbite the fish and is not suitable for stocking.
The size of the fish species should be large, not small, with body length above 20cm, fish head small and back wide, fat and strong, scale fins complete, swimming lively, body color bright, disease-free and injury-free. This kind of fish has strong adaptability, high survival rate, fast growth and large size out of the pond.
5. Fish disinfection and immunity. When the fish species go into the pond, wash the fish body for 5 minutes with 4% salt water for 10 minutes, or soak them with other medicine solutions for disinfection, and some fish species should also be vaccinated.
6. Feeding and management. After the fish goes into the pond, if the weather becomes cold, the pond water should be deepened to prevent freezing; when the weather is sunny and warm, some concentrate feed should be properly fed to ensure the eating needs of fish and promote their growth.
