High cotton yield by scientific fertilization

It is common to apply a lot of fertilizer in cotton planting, but the cotton yield decreases. This is because farmers do not understand the law of fertilizer demand for cotton and fertilization is unreasonable, which not only wastes fertilizer, but also results in low yield and poor quality of cotton. Cotton farmers should master the following points when applying fertilizer:

First, select the types of fertilization: on the basis of applying nitrogen fertilizer, increase the amount of phosphorus and potassium fertilizer, so as to enhance the disease resistance of cotton, prevent premature senescence in the later stage, and increase the yield of cotton.

Second, determine the reasonable amount of fertilizer application: it is best to combine the soil testing formula fertilization technology, follow the fertilization suggestions of technicians, and apply fertilizer scientifically and rationally.

Third, grasp the fertilizer application period of cotton: cotton farmers should understand the law of fertilizer demand of cotton and apply seedling fertilizer, bud fertilizer, flower and boll fertilizer and foliar fertilizer in the later stage.

Fourth, master the correct fertilization method: in fertilization, the burying method should be adopted to improve the fertilizer utilization rate, avoid being too close to the root, and strictly prevent the occurrence of fertilizer root burning or mechanical root injury, resulting in premature senescence and death of cotton and affecting the yield.

Fifth, pay attention to micro-fertilizer spraying: trace element fertilizer should be sprayed in cotton fields lacking boron, zinc and calcium, and Tianfengsu can be sprayed in the early flowering stage and boll stage of cotton growth, so as to reduce cotton bud and boll shedding and increase cotton yield.
