After 4 years' observation, it is considered to be an excellent mid-late ripening variety with good quality, high yield, strong adaptability and fruit storage tolerance. Snake plum fruit is large, spherical. The average weight of a single fruit is 139g, and the maximum weight is 210.2 g. The pericarp is bright red to purplish red with fruit powder. The flesh is yellowish and turns red from outside to inside as it ripens. The color is extremely beautiful. The meat is crisp, insoluble, crisp and refreshing, delicate and fragrant

Snake plum was introduced from California in 1999 and planted in Ruixue Forest Fruit Base in Shaanxi Province in the same year. After 4 years 'observation, it was considered as a fine middle-late maturing variety with good quality, high yield, strong adaptability and fruit storage tolerance.

Snake plum fruit is larger, spherical. The average fruit weight is 139g, the maximum fruit weight is 210.2g. Peel bright red to purple, with fruit powder. Flesh pale yellow, with maturity from outside to inside gradually red, color is extremely beautiful. Crisp meat, no solute, crisp and refreshing, delicate, strong flavor, sweet and refreshing, extremely high quality. Soluble solids content 15.2%, sugar content 16.5-19.2%, titratable acid 0.73%, excellent quality. Harvested fruit hardness, smooth and shiny fruit surface, purple flesh, small stone, semi-sticky stone. It matures in late July to early August in Shaanxi Ruixue Company. The harvest period is long, when the fruit surface is red, it can be harvested until the fruit surface is purple and fully mature, and the time for successive harvest is about 10-15 days. The shelf life of the fruit harvested in red is more than 15 days. The fruit can be stored at room temperature for more than 2 months, and stored in cold storage until the end of April of the following year. In Xi'an market, the price is as high as 40 yuan per kilogram, which is the highest price of one variety in the current Brown Li series.

The young trees of this variety grow fast, the tree is strong, and the tree posture is half open. Combined with summer pruning, stable high-yield tree structure can be formed in the current year. The average yield of 3-year-old trees is 13.5kg. The variety grows well in both mountainous and plain areas and has strong drought tolerance. The hard core period is longer and the diseases and insect pests are lighter. The suitable row spacing for planting was 2m×3m in mountainous land and 3m×3m in plain land. Self-flowering and fruit setting rate is high, after entering the peak fruit period, attention should be paid to thinning the fruit, leaving all single fruits to ensure uniform fruit.
