1. Suckling piglets

2. Feeding in the first 2 weeks after weaning

Weaning piglets suddenly change from breast milk to solid feed, which will cause great stress. at this time, attention should be paid to the form of feed, which can be mixed with wet mixture (2 parts of water and 1 part of feed). High-quality suckling pig milk powder, glucose, multi-vitamins and so on can be added to the feed, and a small amount of multiple meals can be fed 5 to 6 times a day, which can alleviate weaning stress, increase piglets' feed intake and obtain greater weight gain.
3. Nursery
The local temperature of newly weaned piglets was generally required to be 30 ℃, then decreased by 3 ℃ per week to 22 ℃ per week. Heat preservation of weaned piglets can reduce cold stress, thereby reducing the incidence of post-weaning diarrhea and other diseases caused by cold. In the heat preservation, we should try to use heat sources that have no impact on the environment of the nursery, such as infrared insulation lights, electric hot plates, plumbing and other insulation equipment, and try not to use heat sources such as coal that have a great impact on air quality.
Ensure that each nursery pig has a lying space of 0.3 to 0.4 square meters.
Strengthen ventilation and reduce the concentration of harmful gases such as ammonia and carbon dioxide in the house, so as to reduce the stimulation to the respiratory tract of piglets, thus reducing the occurrence of respiratory diseases.
Clean the feces frequently, reduce the flushing times as much as possible, and control the air humidity in the house at 60%-70%; excessive humidity will cause diarrhea and skin diseases in piglets; too low humidity will lead to an increase in dust in the house and cause respiratory diseases.
4. Eliminate remnant pigs in time
The growth of remnant pigs is slow, even if they survive, it takes a long time and more feed to raise them out of the pen, and the loss outweighs the gain.
Residual pigs grow slowly, mostly sick pigs, the more residual pigs, the more pathogenic microorganisms in the nursery, the more susceptible to infection of healthy pigs, feeding, treatment in the process to take up a lot of time. It is found that the residual pigs will be eliminated in time.
5. Drug health care and deworming
In the first week, piglets were added with 60 grams of Zhiyuan net, 500 grams of high-quality multivitamins, 1 kilogram of glucose or 300 grams of Jiakang (mainly florfenicol), 500 grams of multivitamins and 1 kilogram of glucose per ton of water. can effectively prevent the occurrence of respiratory diseases.
During the period of vaccination, adding high-quality multivitamins to the diet can relieve stress to a certain extent.
About 3 weeks after weaning, parasites in and out of the body should be expelled, and highly effective deworming drugs such as "kenvermectin" (mainly ivermectin) and "Tongming" (mainly Doramectin) can be selected.
6. Standardize the immunization procedure
Vaccination stress can not only be shown in the injection, but also significantly reduce the feed intake of piglets, affect the development of their immune system, too much vaccine injection will even cause immunosuppression, so vaccination should be reduced as far as possible in the nursing home.
7. Strict disinfection
After the pigs in the pen are turned out, all utensils, barns and equipment surfaces are sprayed and fully infiltrated and soaked for a period of time; use high-pressure cleaners to thoroughly rinse the floor, high beds, drinking fountains, troughs, etc. After all the utensils are dry, a disinfectant with high efficiency, broad spectrum and low irritation is selected to spray the empty column completely. After 2-3 days, each place is disinfected once with flame, and then transferred to weaned piglets after being left vacant for 1 week.
8. Divide the area
According to the principle of "all in and all out", a nursery can be divided into several areas, each area is a separate space, and the piglets in one area are transferred to piglets weaned in the same week, and the piglets in this area are completely transferred out. After being thoroughly sterilized and left vacant for a week, another batch of piglets will be added.
