Cotton Variety-Ji Chuang Mian 1
Jichuangmian 1 was bred by Hebei Chuangshi Science and Technology Co., Ltd. and Shijiazhuang City Academy of Agricultural Sciences and approved by Hebei Province Crop Variety Committee in April 2006.
1. Main characteristics. The plant height is about 94.8cm and the growth period is about 135 days. The number of fruit branches per plant is about 12.4, the node of the first fruit branch is about 7.0, the number of bolls per plant is about 13.8, the boll weight is about 6.2 g, the seed finger is about 11.5 g, the lint percentage is about 40.9%, and the flower rate before frost is about 88.0%. This variety is transgenic cotton hybrid, resistant to cotton bollworm, red bollworm and other lepidopteran pests.
Disease resistance: Hebei Province Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Institute of Plant Protection of disease identification results, 2003 resistance to Fusarium wilt, Verticillium wilt resistance. 2004 Resistance to Fusarium wilt and Verticillium wilt.
Fiber quality:2005 Ministry of Agriculture cotton quality supervision and inspection center test results, the average length of the upper half 30.3mm, uniformity index 84.0, micronaire value 4.7, specific strength 30.8cN/tex, elongation 6.9%, reflectance 75.4, yellowness 7.1, spinning uniformity index 146, short fiber index 9.0.
2. Production performance. The regional test results of spring sowing cotton groups in Hebei Province from 2003 to 2004 showed that the average lint yield per mu was 93.5 kg and 92.0 kg respectively, and the lint yield per mu before frost was 81.2 kg and 82.5 kg respectively. The results of production test in 2005 showed that the average lint yield per mu was 93.1 kg, and the lint yield per mu before frost was 87.9 kg.
3. Key points of cultivation techniques. Sowing date: April 20-25 for plastic film cotton field, April 25-30 for bare field cotton field. Planting density 2800-3500 plants/mu. Pay attention to chemical control, disease prevention and pest control.
