It was approved by Anhui crop Variety Committee in August 2002. In 2004, under the unified arrangement of Lianyungang Experimental Station and Lianyungang seed Station of China seed Group, we introduced this combination and compared it with other varieties such as 3 you 18, Xudao 3, Yandao 8 and Lianjiajing 1. In 2004, under the unified arrangement of Lianyungang Experimental Station and Lianyungang seed Station of China seed Group, we introduced this combination and compared it with other varieties such as 3 you 18, Xudao 3, Yandao 8 and Lianjiajing 1. Through experiment, demonstration and observation, the characteristics of Ⅲ you 98 and the high quality and high yield cultivation techniques of 700kg per mu were clarified. It is summarized as follows:

1 feature characteristic

The whole growth period of Ⅲ you 98 was 160-163 days, which was 7 days longer than that of 3 you 18 and 5 days longer than that of Xudao 3 and Yandao 8. The initial heading stage of Ⅲ you 98 was 20 ~ 26 days, and the full heading stage was 8X 29 9 / 5, which was 5 days longer than that of 3 you 18 and 4 days longer than that of Xudao 3 and Yandao 8.

1.2 the plant character Ⅲ you 98 has higher plant height, average 124.17~126.8cm, higher 6~8cm than 3 you 18, and higher 20cm than Xudao 3, Yandao 8 and Lianjiajing 1, respectively. The total leaf number of the main stem is about 16.7 leaves, which is one more than that of 3 you 18, which is similar to that of Xudao 3, Yandao 8 and Lianjiajing 1, and the leaf configuration of stem leaves is similar to that of 3 you 18, Xudao 3, Yandao 8 and Lianjiajing 1, but the length of crown clover leaf is longer, the width is narrower and the leaf area is larger. The average panicle length 25.71~26.49cm is about 4cm longer than that of 3 you 18, and 10cm longer than that of Xudao 3, Yandao 8 and Lianjiajing 1, respectively. Ⅲ you 98 has sparse grains and 7.05-7.13 grains per panicle length (cm), which is 15.66% less than that of 3 you 18 and 23.4%, 27.48% and 33.1% less than Xudao 3, Yandao 8 and Lianjiajing 1, respectively.

1.3 stress resistance Ⅲ you 98 had good disease resistance, no stripe blight and bacterial blight were found in the field, rice blast was mild, sheath blight was moderate, and rice false smut was found. The disease resistance was similar to that of 3 you 18, Xudao 3 and Yandao 8. Because the plant of Ⅲ you 98 is higher, its lodging resistance is slightly lower than that of 3 you 18, Xudao 3 and Yandao 8, and the plant is inclined.

According to the experiment, the suitable planting specification of Ⅲ you 98 is 23cm × 13cm, the basic seedling is about 80 000 / mu and the number of panicles is about 220000, which is beneficial to achieve high yield. The leaf area of Ⅲ you 98 population was larger, the leaf area index (LAl) at jointing stage and the maximum leaf area index at heading stage were 5.71 and 8.83 respectively, which were higher than those of the control varieties. The growth rate of leaf area in the early stage was 81.37 square meters / mu per day, and the decline rate of leaf area in the later stage was similar to that of 3 you 18. Therefore, Ⅲ you 98 has the characteristics of good population growth, large leaf area index and high photosynthetic potential.

The dry matter accumulation of Ⅲ you 98 population was slower before heading and faster after heading. The average dry matter accumulation was 5.53kg/ / mu / day before heading and 13.65kg/ / mu / day after heading, both of which were higher than those of the control varieties.

The quality of 1.5m was determined by the rice and product quality supervision, inspection and testing center of the Ministry of Agriculture. The results showed that brown rice rate was 81.8%, milled rice rate was 75.0%, head rice rate was 73.6%, grain length 5.2mm, length-width ratio was 2.0,20% chalkiness, 3.8% chalkiness, grade 2 transparency, grade 7 alkali elimination value, gel consistency 82mm, direct linked starch content 16.7%, protein content 6.8%. The main quality index reaches the first level of national standard and is rated as A-grade rice in Japan.

2High-yielding cultivation techniques

The yield component indexes of 700kg yield of Ⅲ you 98 per mu are as follows: about 220000 per mu of effective panicle, more than 180grains per panicle, more than 80% seed setting rate, and more than 23.5 g 1000-grain weight. In order to achieve high yield, we must pay attention to the following cultivation links.

2.1To cultivate strong seedling and manure bed to raise seedling in dry condition, 5cm 5 ~ 10 days to drop grain, sowing rate 20~25kg/ mu. Soak the seeds with "25% carbendazim 2ml + soaking seed 2ml" for 72 hours before sowing, remove them in time after sowing, and spray paclobutrazol at 1 leaf and 1 heart stage. Base fertilizer urea 30kg, compound fertilizer (15-15-15) 30kg. Use medicine in time to prevent diseases and insect pests.

2.2 reasonable planting is suitable for early planting in the first and middle of June, planting specifications 23cm × 13cm, hole planting 2-3 seedlings, basic seedlings about 80 000 / mu.

2.3 Formula fertilization according to the experimental and demonstration results, Ⅲ you 98 per mu yield 700kg yield level, the general application of pure nitrogen 20kg per mu, before and after the operation ratio of 6: 7 ∶ 3: 4, while increasing the application of phosphorus and potassium fertilizer. The specific fertilization techniques are as follows: applying urea 20kg per mu of basal tiller fertilizer, adding 35kg compound fertilizer, and applying promoting fertilizer urea 4kg 5kg + compound fertilizer 15kg when the remainder of leaf age is about 2.0kg.

2.4 Water slurry management in view of the sensitive response to water and fertilizer of Ⅲ you 98, on the basis of watering green water, booting water and flowering water three times (each water layer is managed for about 10 days), moist management, intermittent irrigation, roasting the field when the number of panicle seedlings reaches 80%, roasting the field for 2 to 3 times to prevent the field from being overweight and rewatering in time. The water was cut off 7 days before harvest.

2.5 Chemical weeding in time after planting live trees for integrated pest control. Ⅲ you 98 has dark leaves and is vulnerable to Chilo suppressalis, so it should be controlled in time. Use drugs at heading and flowering stage to prevent rice false smut, panicle stem blast and other diseases.
