Porcine gastric ulcer refers to the occurrence of keratosis, erosion and necrosis of pig gastric mucosa, or autologous digestion, forming a round ulcer surface, or even gastric perforation. Symptoms include anorexia, abdominal discomfort, constipation or diarrhea caused by abnormal intestinal movement, stomach bleeding, black stool and so on. In the initial stage of pig gastric ulcer, there is slight bleeding in the stomach, and the diseased pig is only dyspepsia, which is not easy to detect. When the stomach is perforated, it is complicated with acute chronic peritonitis and can die quickly.

Treatment principle: eliminate pathogenic factors, neutralize gastric acid and protect gastric mucosa. Pigs with mild symptoms should keep the environment quiet and reduce stress reaction. Sedatives can be injected, such as chlorpromazine hydrochloride, 1-3 mg per kilogram of body weight, neutralizing gastric acid, preventing gastric mucosal damage, aluminum hydroxide, magnesium silicate, magnesia, etc., reduce the acidity of gastric contents. To protect the ulcer surface, prevent bleeding and promote healing, you can take bismuth subnitrate 5g / 10g, 3 times a day before feeding, or tannic acid protein 2g / time, 2g / day for 5 days. In addition, in order to empty the surimi normally, 5 grams of sodium polyacrylic acid can be dissolved in water every day, or 0.5% of the sodium polyacrylate can be mixed with feed for 5 to 7 days. If the diseased pig is extremely anemic and is proved to be gastric perforation or diffuse peritonitis, it is worthless and should be eliminated as soon as possible.

The right medicine: first, feed crushing must not be too fine, feed particle size is not less than 500 microns. Second, reduce the amount of corn and feed less powder. Third, forage such as grass meal or oat shell is added to the feed to make the amount of crude fiber in the diet reach 7%. Fourth, ensure the content of vitamin E, vitamin B1 and selenium in feed. 5. When copper is used as a growth agent, 11010-6 zinc carbonate should be added to the feed as an additive against pig gastric ulcer caused by copper. Sixth, mixed feeding of sodium polyacrylate with a concentration of 0.1% to 0.2% to change the physical state of the feed so that it stays in the stomach for a normal time. Seventh, do not frequently turn around, transport, drive, prevent pigs from hissing at each other. Keep the pig house warm in winter and cool in summer, strengthen ventilation, the feeding density is suitable, and the pig house should leave enough space to facilitate the free movement of pigs.
