A New Cotton Variety-- E Kangmian 11
Variety source: Hubei Jingchu seed Co., Ltd. used "E Kang Mian 10" as the female parent and "3259" as the male parent. Original code name: Jingchu 201. It was approved by Hubei Provincial crop Variety approval Committee in 2005, and the variety approval number is Eshimian 2005009.
Quality and yield: participated in the cotton variety regional test in Hubei Province from 2003 to 2004. the fiber quality was determined by the Cotton quality Supervision, Inspection and Test Center of the Ministry of Agriculture. 2.5% span length 31.9mm, specific strength 32.6CN/tex, micronaire value 4.8mm. In the two-year regional trial, the average lint yield per mu was 89.55 kg, which was 20.56% higher than that of the control Ekangmian 9. Among them: lint yield per mu in 2003 was 79.07kg, an increase of 27.14% over Ekangmian 9; in 2004, lint yield per mu was 100.02 kg, an increase of 15.82% over Ekangmian 9, and a significant increase in both years.
Characteristics: the plant is tall, the plant type is tower type, it is loose, and the growth trend of the whole growth period is strong. The stem is mainly smooth, a few are hairy or hairy, and the stem is stout and elastic. The leaf is larger and the leaf color is lighter. There are two kinds of bell: oval and round, with bell tip, large bell, strong boll setting and smooth spitting. In the regional test, the plant height was 110.15 cm, the number of fruit branches was 17.25, the number of bolls per plant was 21.3, the weight of single boll was 5.40g, the lint percentage of large sample was 39.77%, and the seed index was 10.75g. The growth period is 129 days. The flowering rate before frost is 83.34%. The resistance was identified as resistance to Fusarium wilt and Verticillium wilt.
Main points of cultivation: 1. Sowing at the right time. Transplanting seedlings in nutrition bowl and sowing in the first and middle of April and direct seeding in the open field around April 20. 2. Reasonable close planting. About 1800 plants were planted per mu, and the row spacing was 90cm. 3. Fertilize scientifically and pay attention to the application of trace fertilizers such as phosphorus, potash and boron. 2000 kg of farm manure, 20 kg of urea and 40 kg of superphosphate were applied to the base fertilizer per mu, 20 kg of urea, 15 kg of potassium chloride and 30 kg of superphosphate were applied to Hualing fertilizer, and 15 kg of urea was applied in the first ten days of August. 4. Full-process adjustment. Strictly follow the principle of light in front and heavy after, at bud stage, early flowering stage, full flowering stage and after topping. 5. Strengthen the field management. Timely ploughing, ridging and soil cultivation. Get rid of the leaves in time. Irrigation in time to fight drought in case of high temperature and drought. Pay attention to comprehensive prevention and control of diseases and insect pests.
Suitable range: suitable for planting in cotton areas of Hubei Province, but not suitable for serious diseases of Fusarium wilt and Verticillium wilt.

The plant height is about 110cm, the leaf is larger, the leaf color is light; the fruit branch is clear and handsome, the distribution is uniform, the stem, branch, leaf and boll are smooth, the hairs are few; the boll is oval, the single boll weight is 5.54g, the lint percentage is 39.72%, and the seed index is 11.4g. The whole growth period is about 142 days. The resistance to Fusarium wilt and susceptibility to Verticillium wilt were identified in the regional test of resistance to Verticillium wilt in the Yangtze River Basin from 1995 to 1996.
