Characteristics: the first generation of mid-mature hybrid varieties transferred with insect resistance gene, the growth period of spring sowing in the Yellow River basin is 122 days. Plant shape is loose, plant height 102 cm, boll per plant 16.2, single boll weight 6.7 grams, lint percentage 39.2%, seed finger 11.1 grams, pre-frost flowering rate 93.9%. High resistance to Fusarium wilt, Verticillium wilt and cotton bollworm.
Yield performance: participated in the regional trial of hybrid spring cotton group in the Yellow River Basin in 2005, the yields of seed cotton, lint and pre-frost lint per mu were 248.5 kg, 96.8kg and 90.5kg respectively, which increased by 17.2%, 15.7% and 15.3% respectively compared with the control. In 2006, the yield of seed cotton, lint cotton and pre-frost lint per mu was 256.3 kg, 99.6kg and 92.1kg respectively, which was 16.1%, 12.8% and 10.6% higher than that of the control. In the production test in 2006, the yield of seed cotton, lint cotton and pre-frost lint per mu was 250.1 kg, 98.0kg and 92.0kg respectively, which was 7.5%, 3.4% and 0.1% higher than that of the control.
Approval opinion: the name of this variety of genetically modified organisms is Ji H963. It is suitable for spring sowing and planting in the southeast, south, central and south of Hebei, northern Shandong, central and northern Henan, north of Jiangsu and Anhui Huaihe River, and Guanzhong of Shaanxi Province.

A New Cotton Variety-Jimian 21
Characteristics: this variety (formerly known as Han 78mur91) is an early-maturing low-phenol cotton with a growth period of 110 days and good early maturity. The plant is taller, the stem is stout, the fruit branch is slightly loose, the leaf is larger and the leaf color is light. The seedlings emerge quickly and grow well in the whole growth period. The leaves are smooth and concentrated. Resistant to wilt, resistant to yellow wilt. The weight of the bell is 4.7 grams and the clothing percentage is 34.7%. In the national summer cotton regional test and production test, the lint yield before frost increased by 10.9% and 19.6% compared with the control. The fiber 2.5% span is 27.3 mm, which is 22 grams stronger than that.
