Monthly management of honeysuckle
Families and genera: honeysuckle, honeysuckle.
Scientific name: Lonicerajaponica.
Aliases: honeysuckle, honeysuckle vine, mandarin duck vine, honeysuckle.
Habits: honeysuckle is native to China and is widely distributed in north and south. It is a deciduous or semi-evergreen climbing shrub with strong sex and wide adaptability. Strong cold resistance, can withstand the low temperature of-26 ℃. Like the sun, but also very resistant to shade. Also resistant to drought and water wetness. The requirement of soil is not strict, but it is better to use moist and fertile deep sandy loam.
January: in the dormant period, pay attention to take measures such as cultivating soil to prevent cold.
February: seedlings begin to sprout. The bare root can be transplanted and planted, and the rotten compost should be applied as the base fertilizer in the planting hole, and the soil should be stepped on and irrigated after planting. The planting for vertical greening arrangement should be rare.
March: ploughing and loosening the soil. Thinning and pruning dense branches and old branches. Ramet propagation should be divided with digging, and the sprouting tillers around the rhizosphere should be planted with root groups. when the branches are too dense, they should be thinned or cut one year earlier to promote new buds to sprout and then split. Do a good job in the watering and other management of planting seedlings.
April: sow and reproduce, soak the stratified seeds in 25 ℃ warm water for 24 hours, mix the seeds with fine sand before sowing, moisturize and germinate indoors, sow when 30% of the 40% seeds begin to crack, cover the grass to moisturize after sowing, and the seedlings can emerge in about 10 days.
Remove the cover grass.
May: enter the flowering stage, topdressing the second fertilizer, the blooming of favorable flowers. It is vulnerable to aphids, so attention should be paid to prevention and control.
June: cutting propagation, select 1-year-old sturdy branches, remove the lower leaves, length 15-20 cm, insert bed soil 2cm 3, pour enough water after planting, pay attention to moisturizing, 2pm can take root for 3 weeks, and bloom after transplanting in the second year. Striping propagation can be carried out and the fully grown branches can be cut to 20-30 cm from June to August. Dig the cultivation ditch, about 20 cm deep, apply basic fertilizer at the bottom of the ditch, cover it with a layer of river sand, and bury the branches horizontally in the ditch, cover the soil with 5-7 cm, and water it again half a month later, it can sprout quickly. When the seedlings grow to 5-6 cm, cut the strips, generally divided into 3-4 plants, after a week of watering and fertilization, seedlings can be formed in the same year. Pay attention to weeding and pest control in ploughing.
July: continue cutting and striping propagation. Do a good job in plant management.
August: do a good job of artificial traction to facilitate climbing growth.
September: remove residual flowers and withered leaves to ensure that the nursery is clean. Cut once a month after autumn, new branches germinate in the second year, and the branches can grow 1-3 meters in the same year.
October: harvest the berries, wash off the pulp with water, dry the seeds and store them in stratified sand.
November: enter the dormant period, remove dead branches and leaves, and cut off overdense and overlong branches.
December: do a good job of cleaning the nursery and preventing cold.

Field management of honeysuckle
1. After intertill weeding and transplanting, intertill weeding 3-4 times a year. After 3 years, vine stems grow luxuriantly, and weeding frequency may be determined according to weed conditions. 2, topdressing every spring and autumn to combine weeding topdressing, farm manure, chemical fertilizer can be, each mu topdressing urea 30-40 kg, under the plant to cultivate soil to protect roots.
