Its main advantages are: 1. More branches when seedlings are grown 2. There are branches and flowers 3. Less seedlings for planting 4. Rapid development of branches and leaves 5. Large buds and high yield 6. Early 1 - 2 years into high yield period. Good species mainly developed as economic forest, mixed species mainly developed as ecological forest.

The root system is developed and the adaptability is wide. In the temperature below 3℃, the activity is quite weak and the growth is in a very slow state; above 5℃, the buds begin to sprout; above 16℃, the new shoots grow rapidly and begin to conceive buds. The buds grow well at about 20℃.
It grows pungency, adaptability is very wide. No matter mountain area, plain, clayey soil, sandy soil, slight acid, partial alkali can grow. Its production conditions in Pingyi: mostly gravel soil, PH value 5.8 - 8.5, organic matter content 0.5 - 0.6%, hydrolyzed nitrogen 30 - 40ppm conditions can also be branches and leaves.
Strong growth, strong resistance honeysuckle as long as it does not suffer from pests, branches and leaves are very lush. This of course has joints with fertilizer and water management, but the most important thing is that it has extraordinary resistance. That is, drought and waterlogging resistance, cold resistance, barren resistance. Some grow on the top of mountains, some grow on the edge of ditches, so long as the leeward sun, the branches and leaves do not wither in the middle of winter. The buds germinated in late autumn can resist cold and winter, and continue to grow in the following year. Buds can still appear in soil with organic matter content below 0.4. There is a local agricultural proverb that says: "waterlogging crops dry dead grass, frozen pomegranate, sunburn melon, will not affect honeysuckle." This very vividly illustrates the tenacious vitality of honeysuckle.
In addition, it has a strong disease resistance, according to our investigation, so far, honeysuckle in addition to light susceptible to brown spot, white silk disease, powdery mildew, but also did not find serious damage to other diseases.
