A new variety of Robinia pseudoacacia with red flowers-- Robinia pseudoacacia
Robinia pseudoacacia is a new variety of locust discovered and bred from the natural population of Robinia pseudoacacia by Qiu Yanchang and other experts from the College of Agriculture of Liaocheng University (Tel: 0635-8238266). This variety passed the substantive examination of new plant variety DUS organized by the New Variety Protection Office of State Forestry Administration in July 2007. it was granted the right of new plant variety in October and became another new variety of Robinia pseudoacacia with independent intellectual property rights.
Excellent characteristics of the variety: the flowers of common Robinia pseudoacacia are white or yellowish, with few other variations. The flower crown flag petal of Sophora japonica is light pink, the wing and keel petals are pansy purple, the flowering period is about 7 days earlier than that of the original species, and the whole flowering period is about 14 days longer than that of common Robinia pseudoacacia. The flower of Sophora japonica is colorful, dense, novel and beautiful, and has high ornamental value, so it can be popularized and applied as a new variety of landscaping.
Propagation technology: the propagation technology of this variety is the same as that of Robinia pseudoacacia, mainly by grafting and branch grafting in spring. The Beginning of Autumn then adopted budding method. The method of seed propagation is as follows: the fruits are collected after autumn, soaked in water, dried, stored in bags, sowed in the following spring, sowed with border strips, seedlings and fixed seedlings in late May.
Suitable environment and cultivation techniques: the biological and ecological characteristics of Robinia pseudoacacia are similar to those of Robinia pseudoacacia, and the requirements for climate and soil conditions are the same as those of locust trees. It can be cultivated in our country except Heilongjiang, Jilin, Xizang and other provinces. Robinia pseudoacacia is a positive tree species with deep roots, strong sprouting ability, cold tolerance, drought tolerance, wind resistance, pollution resistance, dust tolerance, adaptation to urban environment, barren tolerance, strong adaptability, fast growth, resistance to pruning, and high survival rate of transplanting. The root system of Robinia pseudoacacia is well developed. it is born in sandy loam with deep, moist and fertile soil, neutral soil, calcareous soil and slightly acidic soil, and can grow normally in mild saline-alkali soil. however, it is difficult to become a master in places where it is too dry, barren and windy, and leaves often die in low-lying water.
Apply enough organic fertilizer when planting, apply quick-acting fertilizer when sprouting in spring, and water in time after fertilization and drought.
The main pests of Robinia pseudoacacia are aphids and locust inchworm. Pay attention to the use of drugs and control them at the right time.

Teach you how to plant Robinia pseudoacacia in winter.
Planting Robinia pseudoacacia in late autumn and early winter has several advantages: first, it avoids the peak period of tree planting in spring and busy season, makes full use of winter leisure period, and the quality of planting time is fully guaranteed. Second, according to the physiological characteristics of Robinia pseudoacacia, the daily average temperature needed for root growth is relatively low, and the aboveground part stops growing after defoliation in autumn, while the underground part still grows for some time, and when the leaves fall, the mobile nutrients of the branches and leaves return to the trunk and root, when the root is rich in storage and nutrition, so that the root system has a growth stage. Third, the fields planted with Robinia pseudoacacia are generally
