Davidia involucrata blossoms like a flock of pigeons

Davidia involucrata, also known as @ # @ 247 trees, originally grows in cold mountain areas with an altitude of 1000 to 2000 meters above sea level. It likes shady, wet, slightly acidic or neutral soil. It is a first-class protected tree species in the country. It blossoms in spring and looks like pigeons, hence the name "pigeon tree". The Forestry Institute of Xiangfan City, Hubei Province, was introduced and cultivated in 1980, and now there are more than 200 plants, the largest of which is 13 meters high and 14 centimeters in breast diameter. On April 10, the 27-year-old Davidia involucrata is full of flowers, about 800, like a flock of pigeons dancing. Xiangfan Forestry Institute is located in Gulongzhong Scenic spot. This tree grows at an altitude of more than 150 meters. It is rare to see successful introduction and luxuriant flowers at such a low altitude.
