Last Updated: 2024/11/05, Pear top rot, also known as pear stem rot, pear iron head disease, generally occurs in pear varieties, so it is also known as pear top rot. At present, the pathogenic factor of pear top rot is not clear, and it is generally considered to be a physiological disease. In order to find an effective control method, we carried out a control experiment with silicon-calcium-magnesium fertilizer and achieved good results. The test results are summarized as follows. (1) Test and methods: (1) test materials. The experiment is set in the pear orchard of Beitou Village, Xishan, Dayao Town, Muping District, Yantai, Shandong Province.

Pear top rot, also known as pear stem rot, pear iron head disease, generally occurs in pear varieties, so it is also known as pear top rot. At present, the pathogenic factor of pear top rot is not clear, and it is generally considered to be a physiological disease. In order to find an effective control method, we carried out a control experiment with silicon-calcium-magnesium fertilizer and achieved good results. The test results are summarized as follows.

(1) experiments and methods:

(1) Test materials. The experiment is set in the pear orchard of Beitou Village, Xishan, Dayao Town, Muping District, Yantai, Shandong Province. the variety is Bali, the tree is 11 years old, the soil is sandy loam, the terrain is flat, there are watering conditions, the overall management level of the orchard is good, the tree growth is moderate, and the uniformity is good.

The experimental fertilizer is silicon-calcium-magnesium fertilizer produced by Shandong Zibo Jinfeng Chemical Co., Ltd., which is mainly composed of 35% silicon, 20% calcium and 10% magnesium. The fertilizer is rich in high-efficiency silicon, calcium and magnesium, which can be used to improve soil, adjust soil pH, improve fruit quality and disease resistance of fruit trees, and control a variety of physiological diseases.

(2) Experimental methods: there were four treatments: ① conventional fertilization + plant application 1kg; ② conventional fertilization + plant application 2kg; ③ conventional fertilization + plant application 3kg; ④ with conventional fertilizer application area as control. 20 trees were treated with each treatment and repeated twice. Before flowering, the pear tree was sprinkled under the tree plate at one time, and then deeply hoed and watered once.

Before fruit harvest, five trees were randomly selected from different treatments. According to the five directions of the crown, 50 fruits were taken from each tree, and the number and rate of diseased fruits were counted respectively, and the control effects were compared with the control.

(2) Test results:

The results showed that Si-Ca-mg fertilizer had better control effect on pear top rot, but the control effect of different dosage was different. In 2003, the control effects of 1 kg, 2 kg and 3 kg Si-Ca-mg fertilizers were 63%, 81% and 83%, respectively, while the control rate of diseased fruit was as high as 63%. In 2004, the control effects of 1 kg, 2 kg and 3 kg were 79%, 96% and 97%, respectively, while the control rate was as high as 66%.

(2) it can also be seen from the experiment that Si-Ca-mg fertilizer can significantly improve the appearance quality of fruit, make the fruit surface smooth and delicate, reduce the occurrence of barley fruit pear, and increase its commercial value; at the same time, the new shoots of trees with Si-Ca-mg fertilizer increased obviously, the weight of single fruit increased, and the yield increased obviously.

(3) as a medium amount of micro-fertilizer, Si-Ca-mg fertilizer can promote the growth and development of fruit tree roots, activate soil, improve soil physical and chemical properties, and promote the balanced absorption of various nutrient elements by fruit trees, so as to correct and prevent the symptoms of nutrient deficiency in fruit trees. In production, according to the age of the tree, it is appropriate to apply 3kg of 2mi per plant.
