It originated in Niigata Prefecture, Japan. It is cultivated in Shandong, Jiangxi, Guizhou, Fujian and other provinces in China. It is a high-yielding variety.
The fruit is large, with an average weight of 393 grams per fruit, with a maximum of 500 grams, nearly round. Fruiting pedicel thick and long, sepals persistent. The flesh is white, the heart is large, the meat is fine, sweet, juicy, contains 13.3% of soluble solids, 6.3% of soluble sugar, and 0.39% titratable acid. The quality is medium to high, and the fruit is resistant to storage. The tree has medium potential, strong sprouting ability and weak branching ability, mainly bearing short fruit branches, which bear fruit 3 years after planting, with high and stable yield. It blossoms from late March to early April in Guiyang, Guizhou, and matures in mid-late September. It is suitable for close planting of Arbor rootstock, and it is easy to obtain high yield in the early stage.
