Producing area and habit
It is a perennial herb distributed in the temperate zone of North America. Cold-resistant, cool, semi-humid environment and sunny, loose, fertile, well-drained sandy loam. The florescence is from May to September.
Morphological characteristics: the plant height is 100-130cm, and the whole plant is hirsute. Much branched. Leaves lanceolate, apex acute, margin undulate-toothed, revolute, both surfaces sparsely pilose. Spikes terminal, slender and evacuated. The flowers are small and white, and the petals are rolled downward in the shape of a spoon.
Propagation and cultivation
Sowing or branching propagation, spring sowing or autumn sowing, the suitable temperature for germination is 15-20 ℃, and the growth is strong.
Application
It is suitable for group planting and can also be used as flower arrangement.

The average weight of single fruit is 300g, the maximum is 665g. The flesh is white; the flesh is tender and juicy, with few stone cells, good flavor, 12% soluble solids, small core and edible rate.
