Last Updated: 2024/11/06, The processing of fresh straw into silage that livestock like to eat is not only simple and fast, but also can save labor. The specific method is to place an extra-large nylon film bag with a thickness of 0.15 cm on the harvested rice field or threshing field; then, put fresh straw into the bag to make a haystack; and finally, fasten the mouth of the bag to prevent air from entering. After about one month, the fresh straw is fermented in a sealed plastic bag and becomes a palatable livestock feed, which can be fed to livestock instead of other silage.
