Prevention and treatment of moldy feed poisoning in pigs
1 main pathogens and their harm
At present, more than 100 kinds of mycotoxins are known, including aflatoxin, ergot toxin, zearalenone and so on. Aflatoxin is the most harmful toxin to the production of aflatoxin. Aflatoxin is a kind of liver toxin. when pigs eat feed contaminated with aflatoxin, it will decrease liver function, reduce bile secretion, and decrease the activity of protease and lipase secreted by pancreas. affect the absorption and utilization of protein and fat in feed; it is also a strong coagulation factor inhibitor, which can cause tissue and organ congestion and bleeding. It can also interfere with the normal function of the immune system, reduce the resistance of the body, the vaccine can not play a normal role, prone to or secondary to a variety of epidemic diseases.
Zearalenone is a kind of mycotoxin with estrogenic effect, which can cause false estrus, non-estrus, pseudo-pregnancy and abortion in sows.
The toxic component of ergot toxin is ergot alkaloid. Ergot toxin poisoning can be divided into spastic type, gangrenous type and mixed type. Poisoning symptoms are mainly less food intake, mental depression, some can have claudication, severe tail, ear necrosis. Non-milk disease often occurs in pregnant sows.
2 clinical symptoms
In clinical diagnosis, the symptoms of moldy feed poisoning are similar to those of some infectious diseases, and bleeding, necrosis and abortion are easy to cause misdiagnosis. The symptoms of sows and piglets are more obvious, the vulva is obviously swollen, firm, tense, protruding to the back of estrus, due to vulva swelling, spread to the vaginal mucosa, causing it to swell and further cause vaginal prolapse. Male piglets showed edema of prepuce. The affected pigs with chronic mycotoxin poisoning generally have normal body temperature, initial loss of appetite, late cessation of food, rough coat, growth retardation and so on. In addition to the above symptoms, acute type can also see neurological symptoms, agitation, mental depression or paralysis, and die within a few days.
3 treatment
Pigs with swelling of vulva, loss of appetite and slow growth caused by chronic poisoning can be treated with hepatoprotective drugs, such as glucose, vitamin C, Gantaile and so on. Patients with neurological symptoms are treated with sedatives, intestinal lavage and antiyeast drugs, ear clipping and bloodletting, intravenous injection of 20% 50% glucose, sodium coffee, vitamin C, urotropine and other drugs. In order to prevent complications, penicillin streptomycin and sulfonamides can be used. For a large group of pigs with loss of appetite, abandonment but good spirit, feeding green feed and drinking large amounts of glucose and urotropine can also get a good therapeutic effect. Immediately stop feeding moldy feed, use juicy and digestible green feed instead of mildew feed, pour appropriate amount of glucose powder and urotropine injection into the basin, put it in the pig house, let the pigs drink and take freely, and generally recover in 2-3 days. The key to the treatment of the disease lies in liver protection, diuresis, detoxification, early prevention and early treatment.
For suspected moldy feed, mildew remover can be added to prevent. Pig farms with or without moldy feed poisoning should be prevented and treated as soon as possible, and the most fundamental thing is not to feed moldy and deteriorated feed, especially piglets and sows, to reduce unnecessary losses.

Commonly used clinical drugs in ducks (macrolides)-tylosin (Tynon)
Source and character: this product is extracted from the culture medium of Streptomyces fredii. It is white crystal, weakly alkaline and slightly soluble in water. Its salts are soluble in water. Tylosin tartrate, tylosin hydrochloride and tylosin phosphate are commonly used in clinic. Function and use: this product is a special antibiotic for livestock and poultry, which has antibacterial effect on Gram-positive bacteria and some Gram-negative bacteria, such as Staphylococcus aureus, Streptomycin pyogenes, mycoform, spirochete, etc., especially effective on mycoplasma. But it has no effect on Gram-positive bacteria.

Pig gallbladder can treat four kinds of diseases
1. Treat indigestion. One pig gallbladder, 15 grams of garlic, and some mung bean powder are mixed evenly to make apricot-sized pills. Each pig is fed 1 pill twice a day for 3 days as a course of treatment. 2. Treat gastroenteritis. Soybeans are stuffed with pig gall, dried and taken out. Each pig is fed with soybeans twice a day, 20g to 30g each time. 3. Treat pneumonia. Take a fresh pig gall, put the crushed alum into the gallbladder, fill it, dry it and grind it into powder and set aside. Pigs over 50 kilograms take 912 grams.
