The most suitable stocking period is the peak period of plant and animal reproduction in the park, generally from mid-April (after Qingming to before grain rain) to the end of October. At this time, the grass in the garden grows luxuriantly, and there are many residues of fruit tree by-products. The ducks can eat all kinds of grass, wild vegetables, fallen flowers, leaves, fruits and other plant foods as well as all kinds of eggs, pupae, reptiles and near-surface insects and other animal foods.
