Hanging cultivation techniques of Lentinus edodes in Winter
The hanging cultivation technique of mushroom can make full use of the effective area of mushroom shed and mushroom house, the yellow water secreted by mycelium on the mushroom tube and mushroom block can drop naturally, and it is convenient to spray, manage and harvest. When the temperature is low, it can be heated by boiler steam, which is easy to adjust the temperature and humidity, which is conducive to producing mushrooms in winter.
The culture medium for charging and inoculating mushroom is prepared according to the conventional formula of bag culture. Polypropylene or polyethylene plastic bags are selected, the specification is 17×33 cm, each bag is 0.4 kg of dry material (about 1 kg of wet material), and the tightness is moderate. Sterilize at normal pressure, cool to below 30℃, inoculate aseptically, and place in culture room or mushroom shed with 3~5 bags for bacteria development. The sterilized culture medium can also be put into a compact box with the specification of 66×33×5 cm for compact inoculation culture. After 50~65 days of culture, hyphae can be grown to full tube. At this time, strengthen ventilation, promote the fungus tube, fungus block color, in order to hang out the mushroom.
The hanging requires that the mushroom house or mushroom shed be fumigated with formaldehyde, then sprinkle some lime powder or spray drugs on the ground and walls to prevent pests and diseases, and finally lay a layer of fine sand on the ground. Then take 1.67 meters of nylon rope and fold it into 0.835 meters of double strand rope. Tie 4 dead knots evenly on the rope, and then tie one end of the two double-stranded ropes to the cross beam in the mushroom house or mushroom shed to replace the culture rack to hang the mushroom tube or mushroom block. When the fungus block or fungus tube turns into reddish brown or light brown fungus film, hang the fungus tube or fungus block carefully into the dead knot empty place of double-stranded nylon rope from top to bottom, the layer spacing is 10~ 15cm, surround a layer of film on the top and edge of the suspended mushroom tube or fungus block for heat preservation and moisture preservation, and clamp the connected part of the film.
The temperature in the mushroom house or mushroom shed is maintained at 20℃~25℃, and the relative humidity is 90%~95%. In general, budding begins after 15 to 20 days of suspension. It usually takes 10~15 days from budding to maturity. After harvesting, it is managed according to the routine, so that it can continue to produce mushrooms normally.

Duan Mu Xuan Tree, the cultivation of Lentinus edodes
There are more than 100 tree species suitable for the production of Lentinus edodes in China, among which the yield of some tree species is relatively high and some is relatively low. Generally speaking, trees suitable for growing Lentinus edodes must have moderate bark thickness, not easy to peel, properly solid, less heartwood, more sapwood and no toxic substances. In terms of economic value and use value, the trees of Fagaceae, drainage family, Aceraceae and Hamamelidaceae are ideal tree species. Castanopsis fargesii, Castanopsis carlesii, maple, oak and mistletoe are commonly used in production. I would like to point out here in particular

Storage method of Lentinus edodes
1. Dry storage. Lentinus edodes has strong water absorption and is not easy to be stored. It is easy to oxidize and deteriorate and mildew occurs when the water content is high. Therefore, shiitake mushrooms must be dried before they can be stored. Appropriate amount of hygroscopic agents such as bulk lime or dry charcoal must be put into the storage container to prevent anti-tide. 2. Low temperature storage. Lentinus edodes must be stored in a low-temperature ventilated place. If possible, the container containing Lentinus edodes can be sealed and stored in the refrigerator or cold storage. 3. Storage away from light. The infrared rays in the light will heat up Lentinus edodes, and ultraviolet rays will cause photochemical reaction.
