Last Updated: 2024/11/09, After inoculation, in order to quickly colonize the hyphae and spread to the cambium, the mushroom wood must be stacked. The stacking forms that are often used are "well" shape, "roof ridge" shape, "fish scale" shape and so on. In relatively humid places, the "well" shape and "roof ridge" shape are usually used, with a heap height of 1.5ml 1.6 meters, and the bottom is covered with stones, about 20 centimeters from the ground, and covered with branches, leaves, grass curtains, etc. Spray water every 2 days, turn the pile once a week, and change the position of the wood. The main purpose of this stage is to maintain the temperature in the pile, which promotes the colonization of mycelium.

15 days after inoculation, the survival of the bacteria was checked. If the white hyphae of the bacteria in the inoculation hole have spread to the surrounding wood, the strain has survived and colonized. If the dead hole caused by drying and other reasons, it can be replanted within 30 days. When you check that the vaccination has survived (usually 15 minutes after inoculation), you can remove the plastic film, cover it with a layer of thatch, and stack the mushroom wood in a more open and ventilated place. This stage is mainly based on moisturizing management, in order to promote the deep spread of mycelium in mushroom wood. At this stage, the pile must be turned every 10 seconds and 15 days to change the position of the mushroom wood up and down.

This stage is the most critical stage in the process of Lentinus edodes cultivation, and it takes a long time, about 6 months from the end of March to November. During this period, the mycelium of Lentinus edodes grew and spread in the wood, decomposed the wood and accumulated nutrients. During this period, the main purpose of the management is to keep the mushroom wood properly hydrated, especially in continuous dry and hot days, spraying water every 2 murmurs for 2 hours every 3 days.
