Tetraploid Robinia pseudoacacia fine varieties
Tetraploid Robinia pseudoacacia was cultivated by Forest breeding Institute of Mountain Forest Department in Korea and introduced into China in 1997. There are five excellent clones of two types: feed type and material type. Through the regional cultivation experiment of experts in our school, two excellent clones suitable for the construction of fine fodder forest and fast-growing and high-yield timber forest in arid and semi-arid areas of Northwest China were selected. these excellent clones not only maintain the original advantages of drought tolerance, barren tolerance and saline-alkali tolerance of Robinia pseudoacacia, but also have the following outstanding characteristics:
(1) large biomass and rich nutrition, which can be used to feed herbivores such as sheep, rabbits and so on.
(2) it grows rapidly and the stem shape is perfectly straight, which can be used as pit wood, pillar and other materials for industrial and civil construction.
Tetraploid Robinia pseudoacacia will be used as a new variety of common Robinia pseudoacacia in the construction of ecological environment in Northwest China, which can be widely used to build high-quality feed forest, fast-growing and high-yield timber forest, fuel forest and shelterbelt, etc., in the afforestation project, the market prospect is very broad. The benefits of developing aquaculture as high-quality feed forest and fast-growing and high-yield timber forest are 1000-1500 yuan / mu / year and 800-1000 yuan / mu / year, respectively.

Tetraploid Robinia pseudoacacia
Tetraploid Robinia pseudoacacia is one of the excellent clones of polyploid Robinia pseudoacacia introduced from abroad, which has been selected by painstaking research and experiment for many years. Tetraploid Robinia pseudoacacia is an artificially induced tetraploid plant with fast growth, large leaves and large biomass. Its leaf width is more than 2 times that of common Robinia pseudoacacia. Compound leaf dry weight, single leaf dry weight and total leaf dry weight are 1.5 times or more than that of common Robinia pseudoacacia. Compared with common Robinia pseudoacacia, tetraploid Robinia pseudoacacia has thicker crown, stronger branches and stronger photosynthetic capacity. Quadruple

Polyploid Robinia pseudoacacia, a new tree species suitable for growing in barren soil
A sapling which is less than 10 centimeters long and only looks like a pea seedling, planted on a barren land where nothing grows, can leap up to more than 3 meters high in a year. This is based on the introduction of foreign tree species by the Luyuan Seedling Research and extension Center of Changyi City, Shandong Province and the experts of Beijing Forestry University. a new type of tree species, multiple system locust, which is suitable for planting in western China, has been successfully cultivated by plant tissue culture technology. It has become a popular "golden tree seedling" because of its excellent resistance to drought, salt and alkali and barren.
