F1 participated in the cotton regional trial in Anhui Province in 1998, and the average seed cotton yield per mu was 234.35 kg per mu in 7 pilot areas.

1. Yield level: participating in the variety comparison test of our institute in 1996, the yield of lint per mu was 96.7 kg, which was 26.10% higher than that of Simian 3, and 98.93 kg per mu in 1997, 18.36% higher than that of Simian 3. In 1998, F1 participated in the cotton regional trial in Anhui Province. The average seed cotton yield per mu and lint yield per mu in seven pilot areas were 234.35 kg and 93.78 kg, respectively, ranking second and first among the tested varieties, with an increase of 12.75% and 13.92% over the control Simian 3. In 1999, F2 participated in the cotton regional trial in Anhui Province. The average yield per mu of seed and lint was 228.04 kg and 95.47 kg respectively, which was 111.88% and 108.50% of that of Simian 3, which ranked first among the tested hybrids. Among them, the yield of seed and lint per mu before frost was 184.04 kg and 77.04 kg respectively. The flowering rate before frost reached 80.70%.

2. Fiber quality: 2.5% span 30.93mm, 50.15% uniformity, specific strength 21.35g/tex, micronaire value 4.9.

Characteristics: fast emergence, high emergence rate, high seedling rate, good quality of cotton seedlings, low node position of fruit branches, compact leaves of medium size, deep engraving, light green leaves, many buds and hypertrophy, strong boll setting, density of about 3000 plants per mu, 19.04 bolls per plant, oval bolls, large bolls, 5 rooms, 5.36g boll weight, thin boll shell, smooth boll opening, seed index 10.67g, lint index 7.48g. The percentage of clothes is high, and the average percentage of clothes in large samples is 40%. Rapid growth process, strong stress resistance, like fertilizer and water, resistance to stain damage, high temperature resistance, good recovery ability. The fiber is white in appearance, mercerized and of good internal quality.

4. Cultivation techniques: sowing at the right time, reasonable close planting and early emergence of strong seedlings. When the row spacing was relaxed properly, the medium fertility density was 2200-2500 plants / mu. 5. Scope of adaptation: it is suitable to be planted in disease-free or mild disease-free areas in Huaibei, Jianghuai and Yanjiang cotton areas of our province.

6. the reaction of the masses to the varieties: after two years of experiments and demonstrations in Suxian, Fuyang, Chuxian and Anqing, cotton farmers unanimously responded well, thinking that the variety had high quality, high and stable yield, fast seedling emergence, prosperous growth, early and concentrated bolls, and smooth floss. Flowers are easy to pick up and sell flowers are of high grade. The early maturity is good, and it is very popular with cotton farmers.
