The seed treatment method of Glycyrrhiza uralensis-- Sand Storage treatment
If the amount of seed used is large, sand storage treatment is often used. The method is to treat it about 2 months before sowing. First soak the licorice seeds in 60 ℃ warm water for 4 hours, stir them many times, fish them out and drain them, mix them with 5 times as much fine sand as the seeds, and the humidity of the river sand is that it can be seen by hand without dripping. Then put the well-mixed seeds into a wooden box, surrounded by wet sand of unmixed seeds, and then covered with 3-5cm thick wet fine river sand. Finally, put the seed box into the prepared cellar.

Cultivation techniques of licorice
Liquoric root, also known as sweet grass, sweet root, has the effect of harmonizing medicinal properties, reducing or alleviating drug toxicity, moistening lungs, and also has the characteristics of cold resistance, heat resistance, drought tolerance, fear of waterlogging and liking light. It is an excellent plant for windbreak and sand fixation. Its cultivation techniques are as follows: land selection and preparation should select sandy soil with deep soil layer, deep groundwater level and good drainage, soil salt content should not exceed 0.2%, rainy or sticky soil and poor drainage should not be planted, because the root is easy to rot or the main root is short, there are many branch roots and hairy roots, and the economic value is not high. It is best to choose a flat nursery ground
