Cultivation techniques of dried Pepper in Korea

1 cultivation season

Except that pepper is not suitable for continuous cropping with Solanaceae crops, there are no strict requirements for front and rear crops. The cultivation of hot pepper is mostly sown in winter and spring and harvested at the end of summer or early winter.

2 raising seedlings

Pepper can be divided into two ways: direct seeding and seedling transplanting, but it is widely used in production. There are two kinds of pepper seedlings: open field seedling and protected field seedling. Soak seeds before sowing to promote germination, and time seedlings, cultivate strong seedlings, early planting. It has a higher yield before the high temperature and drought from July to August. The seedling age of raising seedlings in open field is about 60 days, the transplanting period is delayed, the flowering and fruiting is late, and the per unit yield is lower. Therefore, protected areas are used to raise seedlings in most areas. Nursery seedlings in protected areas include brewing hot material hotbed seedlings and film covered cold bed seedlings. Generally use greenhouse, hotbed sowing, sowing hotbed to keep the bed temperature above 20 ℃. The seedling age is 8-10 true leaves, which is suitable for about 60 days.

3 planting density
