Three methods of storing wheat

Anoxic preservation method: this is a natural anoxic grain protection method under the condition of airtight cylinder by making use of the characteristics of long post-ripening period, high grain temperature and exuberant breathing of wheat. The oxygen in the cylinder gradually decreases with the breathing of wheat, and the content of carbon dioxide can be increased to 2% 5% in 10 days, which can suffocate and kill pests for a certain period of time. However, it should be noted that the moisture content of wheat should be controlled within the standard (12.5%) and the average grain temperature should be kept at about 30 degrees Celsius.

Chemical preservation method: for wheat in the cylinder, phosphine chemical preservation can be used under the condition of good sealing performance, or insecticidal phosphorus can be mixed with wheat to prevent the reproduction of pests and molds and improve the stability of stored grain. For the new wheat which can not be prevented and treated by natural hypoxia, chemical preservation is the most suitable. This method is suitable for long-term storage. Generally, aluminum phosphide 4m 5g per ton of grain can be used.
