Anshu 56
The new potato variety "Anshu 56" is a variety bred by the Agricultural Science Institute of Ankang District, Shaanxi Province, which has been approved and named by the National crop Variety approval Committee. The plant type of this variety is semi-erect, 42-65 cm high, 2-4 main stems, few branches, Corolla purplish red, hard and not lodging. The leaves are dark green and the compound leaves are larger. Corolla purplish red. The tuber is flat and round, the skin is yellow and the flesh is white. The tubers are concentrated, the tubers are large and neat, and the rate of commercial potatoes is high. The dormancy period of tuber is short (about 80 days), the bud is shallow, and it is resistant to storage. Good edible quality, steamed dried noodles, good taste. The starch content is 17.66% and the crude protein content is 2.54%, which is a high protein variety. This variety is resistant to late blight, lightly susceptible to black shank-127, resistant to mosaic virus, and lightly susceptible to bunchy top virus disease. The planting density is 3500-4000 plants / mu, & 127; the general yield per mu is about 1500 kg. The yield per mu in Wulong in 1998 is 1530 kg. In the demonstration planting in this county, the highest yield per mu can reach 2950 kg. In production, it is not resistant to waterlogging, & 127, strong resistance, wide adaptability and great potential to increase production.
