Jimai 19
Jimai 19 (original code 935031) is a new noodle variety with high yield and high quality bred by crop Research Institute of Shandong Academy of Agricultural Sciences. It was approved and named by Shandong crop Variety approval Committee in April 2001.
Characteristics: winter, seedling semi-creeping, good overwintering, plant height 80 cm, ear spindle-shaped, compact plant type, strong tillering ability, high panicle rate, lodging resistance, medium resistance to stripe rust, leaf rust, high resistance to powdery mildew. The quality test reached the standard of medium gluten varieties. The number of ears per mu is 350000-400000, the number of grains per ear is 35-40, and the weight of 1000 grains is 40-45 grams.
Yield performance: in the wheat high fertilizer production experiment in Shandong Province from 1999 to 2000, the yield per mu was 508.6 kg, 7.5% higher than that of the control, ranking first. It is suitable for popularization and utilization under the condition of yield of 400 kg to 500 kg per mu.
