Treatment of stomach ulcer in pigs
The principle of treatment is to eliminate pathogenic factors, neutralize gastric acid and protect gastric mucosa. Diseased pigs with mild symptoms should keep quiet and reduce stress reaction. Sedatives can be injected, such as chlorpromazine hydrochloride, 1 to 3 mg per kilogram of body weight at a time. To neutralize gastric acid and prevent gastric mucosal damage, aluminum silicate magnesium hydroxide or magnesium oxide preparation antacid can be used to reduce the acidity of gastric contents. To protect the ulcer surface, prevent bleeding and promote healing, you can take 5 to 10 grams of bismuth nitrite 3 times a day before feeding. Tannin can also be taken orally, 2 to 2 at a time.
