The living habits occur for more than 10 generations a year, and the aphids survive the winter in new shoots, branches and skin cracks. From May to June of the following year, the number was large, the reproduction was fast, the whole tender shoots and young leaves were covered with aphids, and the population density decreased in the high temperature and rainy season. There was another small peak from September to October and overwintered one after another with the decrease of air temperature in November. the high temperature in the greenhouse in the north was beneficial to the reproduction of the aphid.

Integrated prevention and cure

(1) strengthen maintenance and management, moderate pruning, make it ventilated and transparent, and create conditions that are not conducive to the life of aphids.

(2) protect and utilize natural enemies such as aphid cocoon wasps, lacewings and ladybugs. The method of artificial migration of natural enemies can also be used to increase the number of natural enemies and enhance natural control.

(3) the chemical control should be sprayed with 100x Anna solution or 12.5% Bilin 4000-fold solution during the damage period.
