Pick the bud. The flat plate shape of rhododendron bonsai is generally flat branch. in order to make it luxuriant and perfect as soon as possible, before the cuckoo blossoms, the short and slow-growing branches are removed, thus destroying their normal growth function. as a result, the original accumulation of nutrients from the branches to promote the sprouting of new buds and branches. On the contrary, the flowering branches delayed the germination period because of flowering, and the nutrients stored in the branches were not as exuberant as those in bud-picking schools, so they grew slowly, thus narrowing the growth gap between bud-picking branches and flowering branches. After picking buds, the sprouting strength and growth of flower branches are stronger than that of flowering branches, and its function is to accelerate the growth of short and slow branches, sprout more branches and make the flat plate rich and green.
