It is also suitable for the prevention and treatment of snake disease. Practice has proved that injecting antibiotics into snake bait can not only prevent snake diseases, but also improve snake metabolism, promote growth, increase survival rate or feed conversion rate. Commonly used antibiotics are penicillin, erythromycin, cephalosporin, chloramphenicol, gentamicin, oxytetracycline and so on. When using powder injection type antibiotics, such as penicillin and streptomycin, it should be used now, and the diluted solution should not be used after more than 24 hours.

At present, there are many kinds of veterinary drugs on the market. If we do not pay attention to the incompatibility when treating snakes, it will not only fail to play a proper role in prevention and treatment, but may also cause the death of sick snakes. Such as tetracycline and penicillin, sulfonamides and oxytetracycline, streptomycin and chloramphenicol have incompatibility, that is, there are obvious antagonistic effects. If two or more antibiotics are used, they should be diluted separately and injected separately, and should not be blindly mixed. At the same time, pay attention to the storage of drugs, expired drugs are forbidden to be used by sick snakes. The remaining liquid in summer should be put in the refrigerator for next use, but should not exceed the prescription time.
