Golden Dog Ridge
Scientific name: Cibotiumbarometz
Aliases: Golden Dog Ridge, Yellow Dog head, Monkey hair head
Families and genera: Pteridaceae, golden dog genus
Plant species: large perennial herb terrestrial fern
Morphological features:
The height of the plant is 3m. The rhizome is stout and fat, growing upright or recumbent on the soil surface, and its upper and petiole parts are densely covered with golden long hairy hair, shaped like a dog's head, hence the name. There are clusters of leaves at the top, the petiole is thick and long, the leaf blade is broadly ovate-triangular, the length and width are almost equal, three pinnatifid, ultimate segments falcate-lanceolate, pointed, margin shallowly serrate. The leaves are nearly leathery, the upper end is green and shiny, and the lower end is grayish white. The full sac group covers two valves, shaped like a clam shell.
Place of origin:
It is native to tropical and subtropical regions and is distributed in East China, South China and Southwest China.
Most of them are born in the acid soil in the shady gullies and shades of the foothills. In the natural environment of the wild, a golden dog has several large leaves as high as 3m, more than 2m long and 2m wide.
Growth habits:
Like warm, humid, shady environment. Be afraid of the cold. Avoid direct light. The air humidity should be kept at 70%-80%. The suitable temperature for growth was 16-22 ℃. It is not strict with the soil, but it grows well in the fertile and well-drained acid soil.
Methods of reproduction:
Ramet propagation should be carried out in early spring. The rhizome was transversely cut into 2-3 segments, each with a certain number of adventitious roots and leaves. The cut was coated with plant ash and planted in sterilized humus soil. Pay attention to shading, heat preservation, humidification, 10-20 days can sprout and put leaves.
Cultivation management:
The pot planting of ramet seedlings should not be too deep, and the hairy rhizomes should be exposed to the surface. Acid red soil is the best pot soil, and it can also be mixed with 2 parts of rotten leaf soil and 1 part of coarse sand. It is necessary to master moderate light and moisture in the growing season, and avoid direct sunlight except in early spring and winter, so that it is most suitable to give bright scattered light.
Shade is needed in the hot summer. It is suitable for water supply to keep the soil moist without stagnant water. when it is dry at high temperature, the leaves are easy to wither and can be humidified and cooled by spraying water on the leaf surface, especially in the period of vigorous growth, it is necessary to sprinkle water twice a day. Organic liquid fertilizer was applied once or twice a month. After the beginning of winter, we should reduce the amount of water and keep the soil rice moist. When the weather is dry on a sunny day, water should be sprayed on and around the plant at noon. If the room temperature can be kept below 10 ℃, it can survive the winter safely.
Purpose:
The golden fur on the golden dog plant is a good hemostatic. The traditional Chinese medicine is called Gouji. Where the wound is bleeding, the furry hair is glued to it, and the bleeding can be stopped immediately. The rhizome also has the functions of tonifying liver and kidney, diuresis and so on.
At present, it is often overmined in the distribution area, so attention should be paid to its protection.

Diagnosis and treatment of arthralgia in dogs with rheumatism
At present, breeders generally adopt the methods of keeping dogs in captivity and tying up, and the amount of activity of dogs is relatively reduced. if they encounter adverse factors such as abrupt weather and humid environment, dogs are easy to suffer from rheumatism. The diagnosis and treatment of rheumatic arthralgia in dogs is recorded as follows: (1) the incidence and symptoms of a 6-month-old dog, weighing 7.8 kg, suddenly got sick when it was rainy and wet for days. The sick dog limped on its left forelimb, could not land on the ground, was difficult to move, often could not afford to lie on the ground, and leaped forward with three feet when forced to drive. Pain in the left forelimb of diseased dogs by palpation
