Last Updated: 2024/11/05, The main results are as follows: (1) Product source: Chuanmai 107 (formerly Chuanmai 89mai 107) was bred by crop Research Institute of Sichuan Academy of Agricultural Sciences using 2469 as female parent and 80Murray 28Muh7 as male parent after six years and six generations. (2) characteristics: the spring coleoptile of the variety is green, the young mu is semi-erect, the leaf color is green, and the plant height is 85 min 90 cm. The stem is thick and wax powder is light. Leaf blade size in the middle, lightly clothed. The spike is oblong, the spikelet is densely inserted, the spikelet is long awn, the glume is white, and the ridge is obvious. The whole growth period is about 190 days, which is two days later than the control.

Chuanmai 107 (original code: Chuanmai 89-107) was bred by crossing 2469 used by Crop Institute of Sichuan Province Academy of Agricultural Sciences as female parent and 80-28-7 as male parent through six generations in six years.

(2) Characteristics: This variety spring coleoptile green, young mu semi-erect, green leaves, plant height 85-90 cm. Stems thick, wax powder light. Leaves medium-sized, lightly draped. Spikelets oblong, spikelets more densely attached, long awn, glume white, ridge obvious. The whole growth period is about 190 days, which is two days later than the control. The color fading and yellowing are good. The seeds are white, the sperm is oval, the ventral groove is shallow, the half cutin is neat, the 1000-grain weight is about 45 grams, and the seeds are good in commodity. The results of quality resistance identification showed that crude protein content was 14.6%, wet gluten content was 33.8%, flour yield was 78.6%, bulk density was 793 g/l, high and medium resistance to stripe rust, moderate susceptibility to powdery mildew and scab.

(3) Yield performance: In 1997, Mianyang 26 took part in the provincial trial. The average yield per mu was 253.2 kg, which was 5.4% lower than that of the control. In 1998 and 1999, the average yield per mu was 354.8 kg and 319.3 kg, respectively, which increased by 5.02% and 12.46% compared with the control Chuanmai 28, ranking second and third among the tested varieties. In 1999, the yield of Chuanmai 28 was increased by 13.3% compared with that of CK. The high yield, adaptability and stripe rust resistance were better after large area production demonstration.

(4) Key points of cultivation: The sowing time of this variety is flexible, and it is sown in the beginning of winter when frost falls in our province. Basic seedlings 140 - 180 000, low fertility fields with high basic seedlings is appropriate. Pure nitrogen 10 kg per mu, phosphorus, potassium fertilizer combined use, heavy fertilizer base, early fertilizer seedlings (chase). Chlormequat was applied at the early jointing stage in the fields with higher fertility and higher density. Pay attention to the prevention and control of aphids during heading and flowering.

(5) Suitable planting area: suitable for planting in flat dam and hilly areas of our province.
