The common multiple diseases in pigs are: colibacillosis, transmissible gastroenteritis, epidemic diarrhea, asthma and hypoglycemia in piglets. These five common diseases seriously affect the normal growth and development of pigs, hinder the development of the industry, and often cause a large number of deaths in pigs. Therefore, we must implement the prevention and control policy, seriously prevent and control, prevention and control, must not be taken lightly, in order to ensure the smooth development of the pig industry.

Colibacillosis in piglets

There are three manifestations of colibacillosis in piglets: early-onset colibacillosis (yellow dysentery of piglets), delayed colibacillosis (white dysentery of piglets), and edema disease of piglets (red-eye disease). Fat piglets before and after weaning.

Prevention and cure measures

The above three diseases are all caused by pathogenic Escherichia coli. Prevention and control should pay attention to the following two points:

1. Strengthen the feeding and management of pregnant and lactating sows, clean the enclosure in time, disinfect it regularly, and keep it clean and dry.

2. The sick piglets should be treated with comprehensive treatment methods, such as anti-inflammation and antibacterial, antidiarrheal, cardiotonic, fluid replacement and so on.

Transmissible gastroenteritis and epidemic diarrhea

Transmissible gastroenteritis (TGE) and epidemic diarrhea (PED) are commonly known as winter diarrhea, both of which are caused by virus infection. The main symptoms were gray cement dysentery, vomiting and dehydration.

Prevention and cure measures

At present, there is no ideal vaccine for these two diseases, and there is no effective treatment. Prevention and treatment of these two diseases should give priority to prevention:

1. Keep the pig house clean and dry, remove the feces in the house in time, and disinfect it regularly.

2. After the occurrence of the disease, timely isolation and hydration treatment should be carried out, and at the same time, feeding management should be strengthened to enhance the disease resistance of pigs.

Asthma

Asthma (bronchitis) is a chronic respiratory infection caused by mycoplasma (mycoplasma).

Prevention and cure measures

At present, there is no available vaccine for the disease, the preventive vaccine is still in the trial stage, and there is no specific therapeutic drug.

1. After the disease of pigs, isolation treatment should be carried out in time, and pig farms should be purified at the same time.

2. Pig farms without disease should adhere to the principle of self-breeding and strengthen feeding and management.

3. Drug treatment, Mycoplasma Jing, oxytetracycline or kanamycin can be added to the feed.

Hypoglycemia of piglets

The cause of the disease is malnutrition in late pregnant sows or postpartum lack of milk, resulting in energy deficiency in piglets, resulting in a decrease in blood sugar.

Prevention and cure measures

The treatment principle of "syndrome differentiation and treatment" should be adhered to in the prevention and treatment of this disease.

1. Strengthen feeding management, especially in late pregnancy and lactation, and feed nutritious full-price feed to meet the nutritional needs of piglets for growth, development and lactation.

2. In order to reduce the energy consumption of sows and piglets and improve the effective utilization rate of feed, the cold protection and warmth protection of pig houses should be done in winter.
