Basic copper sulfate can be used to control cotton diseases.
Copper noble 27.12% basic copper sulfate suspension can be used to control cotton diseases.
After sowing and covering the cotton with soil-applied fertilizer at seedling stage, 600~800 times solution of copper noble 27.12% basic copper sulfate suspension was poured to disinfect the seedbed soil and effectively prevent soil-borne diseases. Cotton seedling diseases such as seedling blight and anthracnose can be effectively controlled by spraying 1000 times solution of copper noble 27.12% basic copper sulfate suspension when cotton seedlings are fully grown and cotyledons are flat. 3~5 days before transplanting, spraying 1000 times solution of copper noble 27.12% basic copper sulfate suspension can ensure that transplanted cotton seedlings will not be infected and improve the survival rate of transplanting.
Cotton Fusarium wilt is a soil-borne systemic disease, which is easy to be infected when the temperature and humidity are suitable. After cotton seedlings are infected, spray 600~800 times solution of copper noble 27.12% basic copper sulfate suspension at the initial stage of disease, and reapply once every 7~10 days. The plants with serious disease can be irrigated with 500 times solution of copper noble 27.12% basic copper sulfate suspension. Cotton angular spot disease was caused by bacterial infection after flooding. Spraying 500 times solution of copper noble 27.12% basic copper sulfate suspension at the initial stage of disease could effectively control the spread of disease.
The medicine has no systemic property, can not inhibit the growth of cotton plants due to excessive use times, has strong adsorption power and permeability, and has an effective period of more than 20 days. Early medication is better for prevention. It has good compatibility and can be mixed with fungicides and pesticides other than strong acids and strong bases, but not with domestic potassium dihydrogen phosphate. If necessary, it can be mixed with Neufamum Dorica (high content foliar potassium fertilizer, containing nitrogen, phosphorus and trace elements) or high quality foliar fertilizer and regulator.

Jiangsu has developed a new cotton product "Suza 3"
Suza 3, a new cotton product jointly selected by the Economic Research Institute of Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences and other units, has been successfully developed and approved by the national new variety in Jiangsu Province a few days ago. It is reported that this is the first bivalent transgenic insect-resistant hybrid cotton in Jiangsu Province. Tests show that it has strong resistance to common pests such as Helicoverpa armigera and red bollworm. According to experts, at present, insect-resistant cotton in the Yangtze River Basin in China generally has only a single insect-resistant gene-"BT insect-resistant gene", while Suza 3 not only contains the above genes, but also has "C"

Resolutely relax the small row spacing of cotton-- the second suggestion of consultation service in rural areas in 2008
Before sowing, the author visited some cotton areas in Hebei, Shandong, Shanxi and Shaanxi and found that the small row spacing of cotton in most areas was too narrow, which seriously hindered the normal growth and development of cotton plants, so planting reform must be carried out from the population structure. The top priority is to relax the small line spacing. In order to cover cotton with plastic film, cotton farmers mostly use large and small rows to sow seeds, one sowing two rows. In most areas, 90 cm wide plastic film is used, and the width of small line spacing is about 45 cm. This is not conducive to the normal elongation of fruit branches and flowering bolls, but also the formation of unbalanced growth on both sides of cotton roots. Very
