First, avoid fertilizing.
Due to the high temperature in midsummer and the rapid loss of water on the leaf surface, fertilization will make the concentration of pile cell fluid less than that of the external environment, resulting in the reverse flow of water in plant cells, and the pile will die due to fertilizer damage.
Second, avoid drought.
When I think of watering, I can't remember not watering. Sometimes I don't care for several days in a row. once the leaves are found to be wilting, they quickly replenish the water, and the leaves return to normal. this is a reaction of the pile to adapt to the environment, but for a long time, excessive transpiration will eventually make the pile die of dehydration.
Third, avoid water stains.
Some people think that frequent watering during the high temperature period is beneficial to the growth of the pile. In fact, the humidity of the basin soil is too high, the root system is in a state of anaerobic respiration for a long time, and the root system of the pile fails to absorb water, inorganic salts and minerals, and finally drowns.
Fourth, avoid sunburn.
When the ambient temperature is more than 28 ℃, the bonsai should be treated with shade, otherwise, the amount of water obtained by the pile from the soil is much lower than that lost by transpiration, the leaf edge of the light is burned and scorched, and the heavy pile is burned and dies.
Fifth, avoid sudden yin.
Usually, in order to avoid high temperature injury, when the ambient temperature exceeds the maximum temperature limit of the pile, the bonsai should be moved to the low temperature zone with weak light, about 2 ℃ lower, to facilitate the growth of the pile, but if it is suddenly moved to indoor or lower temperature area, within a few days, the leaves will naturally fall off and the tree stump will shrink and die.
