For one-time harvested vegetables, such as celery, cabbage, Chinese cabbage, rape, etc., according to the safe interval of pesticides, the use of drugs can be stopped at a certain time before harvest, so that the products can meet the requirements of pollution-free. However, for eggplant fruits and melons that have been harvested many times, it is difficult to specify a certain time to stop using drugs before harvest, especially during the harvest period, the fruits with diseases and insect pests are likely to be harvested and listed before the pesticide residue period. resulting in a decline in quality. The above problems can be solved effectively by using fruit bagging method in tomato and cucumber cultivation.

After setting the fruit of tomato and cucumber, the disease-free fruit was bagged. The transparent polyethylene film bag used by tomato was 20 cm long, 16 cm wide and 0.08 mm thick, and the film bag used by cucumber was 45 cm long, 8 cm wide and 0.08 mm thick. After bagging, fasten the mouth of the bag with a rubber band at the handle of the fruit, loosening and tightening moderately.

After bagging, the fruit grew fast, the color was good, the time of fruit turning red was faster than that without bagging, and the pesticide residue decreased obviously. Bagging can also directly prevent diseases and insect pests from infecting fruits and ensure the safety of vegetable products. After the fruit reaches the market standard, the bag and the fruit can be packaged and listed together.
