The hybrid was bred by systematic selection from Lumai 14 as female parent and Lu884187 as male parent by Crop Research Institute of Shandong Province Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
This variety participated in the regional test of high fertilizer group B in Shandong Province from 2000 to 2002. The average yield per mu in two years was 507.05 kg, which was 0.78% lower than that of Lumai 14. From 2002 to 2003, it participated in the production test of high fertilizer group of wheat in Shandong Province. The average yield per mu was 513.37 kg, which was 8.69% higher than that of Lumai 14.
It is suitable to be popularized and planted as a strong gluten wheat variety in Shandong Province under the condition of medium and high fertilizer and water.
