The usage of common fish medicine

1. Quicklime

It can be used for pond cleaning and disinfection, and can increase PH of pond water, improve pond bottom quality and water quality.

2. Formalin (formaldehyde)

Soaking with 30ppm solution for 24 hours can kill rotifer, tongue cup worm, ring worm and melon worm, etc.; 250ppm solution for 1 hour and 100ppm for 3 hours can treat third-generation worms and other protozoa; 3% 5% solution for 2-3 minutes can prevent water mildew; sprinkle with alkaline green mixture in the whole pool can treat melon disease; fish die when the concentration of 150ppm is about 5 hours. The color of the poisoned fish becomes lighter.

3. Malachite green (alkaline green)

The wound of parent fish is smeared with 1% solution to prevent infection; the big fish suffering from water mildew disease are washed with 66ppm solution for 30 seconds; when the water temperature is 8-9 ℃, 0.5ppm is used continuously for 3 days to cure carp small melon disease; spraying with 0.1-0.2ppm whole pool can effectively control water mold and kill rotifers; at low temperature, it can be used in combination with methylene blue to improve the curative effect. 0.05ppm alkaline green combined with formalin can treat oblique tube worm, twice a day can treat melon disease, 0.5ppm concentration soak for 2 hours, continuous use for several times, can kill small melon worm; in addition, it can kill rotifer, oral worm, third generation worm and oblique tube worm.

4. Potassium permanganate

Washing method: washing diseased fish with 20 grams of potassium permanganate per cubic meter at a water temperature of 15-20 ℃ can cure grass carp and carp carp disease; washing diseased fish with 20ppm potassium permanganate for 15-30 minutes is effective in killing the third generation of worms, ring worms, rotifers and oblique tube worms.

Smearing method: potassium permanganate is mixed into 1% aqueous solution and smeared on the affected parts of diseased fish, which can cure the uterine disease of carp.

Whole pool sprinkling method: 4-5ppm concentration and 7 ‰ salt were used to treat fish diseases such as water mold, protozoa and crustaceans, and water was changed after 3-5 days to remove salt; 0.1ppm potassium permanganate and 0.25ppm copper sulfate were used to treat oblique tube worms.

5. Bleaching powder

Pond cleaning method: clean the pond with 20ppm concentration with water.

Whole pool sprinkling method: 1ppm concentration is used to control red skin, rotten Gill and printing disease. if the drug is used continuously for 3 days, white skin disease and white head and mouth disease can be treated.

Hanging basket method: in the epidemic season, each table hung 3-6 bamboo baskets, bamboo baskets put about 100 grams of bleach, can play a preventive role.

6. Trichlorfon

Washing method: washing fish seeds with 90% crystal trichlorfon 20-40ppm concentration at 10-15 ℃ for 10-12 minutes can kill parasites such as ring worm, Chinese oyster, anchor head turtle and third generation worms.

The whole pool sprinkling method: 90% crystal trichlorfon 0.2-0.3ppm concentration, once every 3-5 days, 3 times continuously to treat anchor head disease; 2.5% powder trichlorfon 1-4ppm concentration or 90% crystal trichlorfon 0.2-0.5ppm concentration can kill ring worm, water centipede, mussel shrimp and fish fish, and so on.

Toxicity: the toxicity of trichlorfon varies from fish to fish. The safe concentration of trichlorfon is 0.18-0.54 0.3ppm for fish, 1.8-5.7 ppm for sea bream and crucian carp, and 0.2-ppm for larvae and adults within 12-24 hours.
