Fish viral diseases, bacterial diseases, nutritional and metabolic diseases, water pollution and long-term use of the same antimicrobial agents will cause pathological changes in the liver and gallbladder of fish, especially in the second-year-old grass carp. It often causes huge economic losses to the majority of farmers.

First, symptoms

After fish suffer from hepatobiliary disease, the appearance is usually normal, and the main problem occurs in the internal organs. The main symptoms are as follows:

1. Color change. The liver shows white, pink, khaki, yellowish brown, purple-black or red, yellow crossing, and even turns green.

two。 Pathological changes. Swelling, edema, atrophy, or become reticulate, there are white particles in the liver tissue, or the liver is like tofu residue.

3. There are bleeding spots in the liver, liver cirrhosis, splenomegaly and bleeding spots.

4. The gallbladder becomes enlarged and the bile changes from normal green to black; some gallbladder becomes smaller or atrophy.

II. Prevention and control methods

First of all, the etiology of hepatobiliary diseases in fish should be correctly diagnosed, and then targeted drugs should be selected for treatment.

1. The occurrence of the disease is usually related to feed. Before feeding the bait, you should change the feed formula and choose a nutritionally balanced full-price feed to help the treatment.

two。 If hepatobiliary disease occurs with external diseases, such as rotten gills, red skin, etc., please use topical disinfectants.

3. Internal medication is recommended for the treatment of hepatobiliary diseases, and compound Chinese herbal medicine and other medicines should be used. For example, Sanhuang powder, Huanglian jiedu powder, Baoganling and other drugs can be added and fed according to the packaging instructions, and the dosage can be increased when the condition is serious, once or twice a day, continuously for 5 days. Because these compound Chinese herbal medicines have the effects of heat-clearing and detoxification, hemostasis and conditioning, and will not cause drug resistance, the therapeutic effect is more obvious. Recently, the author successfully cured 2 cases of grass carp hepatobiliary disease by using the above-mentioned methods, which saved some economic losses for farmers.
