It was approved and named by Gansu Provincial crop Variety approval Committee in 2001. This variety is suitable for planting in the cotton area of Hexi Corridor in Gansu Province, Ejina Banner in Inner Mongolia and Ningxia. 1 main characteristics this variety belongs to extra precocious upland cotton, with a whole growth period of 138 days.

1 the main characteristics of this variety are very precocious upland cotton, the whole growth period is 138 days, and the ratio of pre-frost flowers is 83.8%. Fast and neat seedling emergence, rapid production and development in the early stage, strong growth in the middle stage, plant tube type, compact plant tube type, plant height 58.0-64.9 cm, fruit branch I-II type, the node position of the first fruit branch is 3.5, and the number of fruit branch layers per plant is 8. The leaf is medium to small, the back of the leaf is fluffy, the leaf color is light green, the leaf shape is usually palmately 3-5-lobed, the notch is shallow, and the wrinkle is obvious. The number of bolls per plant is 5.1-8.2, the inner bolls are many and concentrated, the bolls are large, round, pointed, 4-5, the average boll weight before frost is 6.0g, the boll shell is thin, the boll is smooth, the boll content is strong, the cotton wool is white and mercerized, and it is easy to pick. The grain is white, pear-shaped, and the seed finger is 12.3 grams. The sub-skin cotton samples from each test site were determined by the Cotton Fiber testing Center of the Ministry of Agriculture, the results showed that 2.5% span 28.9mm, length uniformity 50.4%, fracture specific strength 19.6cN/tex, micronaire value 3.8. The results showed that the average incidence of Fusarium wilt was 5.4%, and the disease index was 2.1, which was 74.1 and 63.4 percentage points lower than the susceptible control Xinluzao 7, respectively. It was 0.9 and 0.3 percentage points higher than the resistant control Jiumian 1, and there was no significant difference between Jiumian 1 and Jiumian 1. It was a variety with high Fusarium wilt resistance.
