I. Characteristics

Good quality, growth period of 130 days. The system has tough stem, lodging resistance, bollworm resistance, aphid resistance, strong disease resistance, especially resistance to cotton wilt and verticillium wilt, and strong saline-alkali resistance. Compared with common cotton varieties, the germination rate is 2.5 times higher when the sodium chloride concentration reaches 2.5%~3.5%. When the total salt content in the field was 0.5%, the germination rate was 10% higher than that of ordinary cotton varieties, and the adult plant rate was 8% higher than that of ordinary cotton varieties.

II. Yield performance

In 2003, it was planted on the heavy saline-alkali land in East China, and the lint yield reached 113.8 kg in 667 square meters, realizing a new breakthrough in saline-alkali resistant cotton breeding. In 2005, it was planted in Shihezi Township, ** Shihezi City. The boll rate per plant was very high. The seed cotton yield of 667 square meters was 430 kg, and the lint yield of 667 square meters was 172 kg.

III. Cultivation characteristics

1. Early sowing at the right time. Sowing can be done on April 10 in northern Xinjiang and early April in southern Xinjiang.

2. Planting density. The plant type is loose, not too dense, 667 square meters to protect 1.2~1.3 thousand seedlings is appropriate.

3. Strengthen early management, promote early emergence, in order to achieve early bud flowering, early boll opening goal.

4. Because of vigorous growth, chemical regulation should be done well, the internode length of plants should be controlled well, the internode length should be strictly controlled with DPC when 2 leaves and 1 heart, 4 leaves and 1 heart, 6~8 leaves and 12 leaves, the top should be beaten and capped with DPC, the water and fertilizer should be controlled well to ensure that the internode length is not prosperous and green.

5. Strengthen the field tube at the flowering and boll stage, ensure the supply of fertilizer and water, do not remove fertilizer, strictly control not to be greedy at the same time, promote the development of bolls, and open bolls early.

6. To promote early maturity, we must grasp the bud period off pants legs, wipe excrescence buds, timely top, hit the group tip, August 10 to flower as the boundary to knock off the top redundant part.

7. In saline-alkali soil, fine soil preparation, strict seeding quality, timely breaking hardening and seedling release should be achieved. Water-saving techniques are applied to suppress shading, cultivate in time after sowing, cut off capillary tubes in soil surface, reduce shading, increase ground temperature and promote seedling growth. Cotton fields in saline-alkali soil are cultivated 2~3 times at seedling stage, with depth of 16~18 cm.
