First, the choice of planting site: it is most suitable to grow in an environment with sufficient light, good air circulation, rich soil nutrition and good drainage conditions.

Second, soil exchange and land preparation: because large-scale machinery is often used in road construction, the structure of the soil is seriously damaged, and the performance of ventilation and drainage is poor. Therefore, before planting, it is necessary to change the planting land and replace it with loose soil rich in humus, with a depth of more than 50 cm. If there is still mechanically crushed solid soil below, the soil layer must be dug through before the soil is changed to facilitate water infiltration. Turn the soil 30 cm deep before planting and mix the soil and base fertilizer well.

Third, select seedlings for planting: choose two-year-old potted seedlings with no diseases and insect pests and strong growth for transplant, and the row spacing of the plants is 30 cm.

Fourth, maintenance: immediately after planting, watering once permeable, timely watering during the growing period. The land condition of the street is poor, especially the abundant rose planted in the split belt, which is surrounded by hardened ground and high solar radiation. In the high temperature and dry season, it is necessary to increase the number of times of watering, usually once a day, and avoid the high temperature period at noon. Nitrogen-based fertilizer is applied twice a year in the growing season, all after pruning. Fertilization method: spread fertilizer evenly on the cultivated land and pour it into the soil. During flowering, topdressing is required for one or two times, and the fertilizer is mainly compound fertilizer containing nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, and 1.5 kilograms of potassium dihydrogen phosphate is applied every 100 square meters or 0.2% potassium dihydrogen phosphate is sprayed on the leaves to ensure that the flowers bloom continuously.

Fifth, pruning: southern Fenghua rose can blossom within a year, but there are two blooming periods. In order to ensure that Fenghua rose bloom during May Day and National Day holiday, a pruning should be carried out in mid-March and mid-August, respectively, in the first ten days of May and early October. When pruning, first cut off all withered branches, disease and insect branches, weak branches and cross branches from the base, leaving only 3-5 strong trunks per plant, leaving the trunk extending to different directions to ensure the uniform growth of the plant. The plant height is 25-30 cm, containing 5-6 buds. The cut should be about 1 cm above the axillary bud, with an angle of 45 degrees. Apply fertilizer once after cutting. After each flower shedding, cut off the residual flowers in time, usually in the flower knife; cut off the residual flowers on the second compound leaf, retain the axillary bud of the second compound leaf, and let it branch and blossom again. As long as it is properly pruned, the abundant rose can bloom continuously all the year round.
