A brief talk on the relationship between flowering and temperature of Rose
Many flower literature introduced open-field rose said: like warm, florescence from May to October, which is actually not accurate. After years of observation, the author found that the florescence of rose is longer than this: it can last from May to November, or even longer. It is not afraid of Frosts Descent, only after the snow will wither the flowers and leaves, if pruned later, it is possible to watch the rose in the snow.
Rose likes sun and fat, but it is also resistant to barren and drought, while the adaptation to temperature fluctuates throughout the year. Although the rose likes warmth, it can't stand the heat. On hot summer days, although the rose still has luxuriant branches and leaves, it has few flowers, small flowers, and may even have a non-flowering cycle. Therefore, it is not rigorous to say that the rose is also called "red moon" and "three seasons flowers" in some literature. Of course, some man-made measures, such as proper pruning, increasing nitrogen, potash fertilizer and water shading, can alleviate the above situation, but the quality and quantity of flowering can not meet the standard of spring flowering and can not reflect the characteristics of Chinese rose.
In the extensive management areas of North China, from July to August, only thin florets or leafless flowers can be seen in rose. But at the end of September, the cool autumn wind rises gradually, and the rose coruscates its vitality. No matter how extensive the management is, a bud with large quantity and good quality can be bred. In October, the flowers are huge, and the scenery is not inferior to that of May. After the end of October, the weather is getting colder and the number of flowers is decreasing, but the flowers are still big and full.
Thus it can be seen that the temperature requirement of rose flowering is very strict. Too cold and too hot are not conducive to its flowering. Only the warm and cool spring and autumn season is the most suitable flowering season for rose.

Production rules of cut rose
First, the propagation of cut rose is mainly through grafting. The rootstocks used are wild rose, pink rose or thorn-free dog rose, and thorn-free dog rose is the most ideal. Grafting propagation takes place in the growing season, usually from mid-March or early July to mid-September. At this time, the bark of the rootstock is easy to peel off, the operation is convenient, and the survival rate is high. When grafting, first make a vertical incision on the rootstock, and then make a horizontal incision to form a "T" shape. Then cut the shield-shaped bud piece from the scion and insert it into the incision. And then tie up the location. Cut more than the incision after the scion survived.

Cultivation of street rose with abundant flowers
First, the choice of planting site: it is most suitable to grow in an environment with sufficient light, good air circulation, rich soil nutrition and good drainage conditions. Second, soil exchange and land preparation: because large-scale machinery is often used in road construction, the structure of the soil is seriously damaged, and the performance of ventilation and drainage is poor. Therefore, before planting, it is necessary to change the planting land and replace it with loose soil rich in humus, with a depth of more than 50 cm. If there is still mechanically crushed solid soil below, the soil layer must be dug through before the soil is changed to facilitate water infiltration.
