The cooling effect is very good.

In terms of skillfully adjusting the feed structure, we should feed more green and succulent feed in summer, appropriately increase the concentrate rich in protein, and feed less high-energy feed as much as possible. In order to prevent rabbit diarrhea, we should also feed some high-quality green hay and provide sufficient clean and cold water (preferably 1-2% salt, supplement salt), so that it can eat and drink freely; in the way of feeding, due to the hot summer, most rabbits lie still during the day, feeding and activities are concentrated at night, and "breakfast is early, lunch is fine but less, dinner is full, and grass is fed more at night", so as to increase its food intake and promote growth and development.

When the semen quality of the male rabbit is low and the estrus of the female rabbit is abnormal in the middle of summer, the male rabbit is prone to infertility. Even with breeding, the newborn rabbits are easy to get sick because of poor physical condition, and the survival rate is low. In the two months from mid-June to mid-August, mating and breeding should be stopped, so that male and female rabbits can have a good rest and reduce physical exertion, which is very beneficial to autumn matching.

It is difficult to feed baby rabbits in summer, so it is necessary to let them eat colostrum as soon as possible after birth. The litter size should be adjusted in time, generally 6-8 per litter. After eating, the young rabbits should be given 0.5% licorice water in time, adding 10 grams of brown sugar, 10 grams of glucose, 0.5 grams of compound dimethazine and 0.5 grams of trimethoprim for every 100 milliliters of licorice water, twice a day and 5 milliliters each. Pay attention to cooling and mosquito prevention, prevent dogs, cats and other natural enemies from harming rabbits, and keep the mat grass clean and dry.

Strictly prevent the epidemic disease from high temperature and humidity in summer, rabbits are prone to intestinal infectious diseases and coccidiosis. Add some chopped plantain, dandelion, spring onions and garlic to the feed, let each rabbit take 2 tablets of Dianjing and chlorophenylguanidine every day for two weeks, stop feeding for one week, and double the amount of treatment, which can effectively prevent and cure intestinal infectious diseases and coccidiosis. Feed the rabbits with Xiaoer an, oxytetracycline powder and Rendan mixture, and often feed some mung bean sugar soup, patchouli water and so on, which can prevent heatstroke.
