Caibaofeng pear

Caibao wind pear, also known as torch wind pear, is an ornamental leaf and flowering plant of Lizuifeng pear of Fengliaceae.

Caibaofeng pear is a perennial evergreen herb, is a hybrid improved species of the genus Lizuifeng, medium-sized, plant height 20 Mel 30 cm. The leaves are linear, 25ml 30cm long and 3mi 4cm wide; the leaves are thin and bright green, the leaf margin is smooth and unarmed, and the foliage is tightly held into a funnel-shaped. Huwen wind pear: also known as Hongjian pineapple. The leaves are leathery and have obvious purple-black stripes on both sides, similar to tiger skin markings. Inflorescences erect or slightly inclined, candle-shaped or sword-shaped and slightly flat; bracts fiery red, not withered for a long time; brewed flowers; yellow flowers during the day and white flowers at night, pedicels above the leaves; blossoms throughout the year when the environment is right.

Caibaofeng pear is native to Central and South America and the West Indies. Its sex likes warm, moist and bright light. Cultivation and management should be treated differently according to dormant period and growing period. Apply mature organic liquid fertilizer or comprehensive fertilizer of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium every 20 days or so. Fertilization can be sprayed on the leaves or irrigated in the foliage. Because the root system is not well developed, the ability of the leaf and heart to absorb nutrients and water is much higher than that of the root. At the same time, enough water should be given during the growing period, especially when the temperature is high, the humidity should also be high, and it is often necessary to spray water to the leaf surface (the effect of spraying water is better than watering). In hot summer, it is best to keep the temperature at 20 ℃ and the humidity at 65% Mel 75%. Winter is the dormant period, the light is poor, the temperature should not be too high, keep it at 10 ℃ 18 min, and do not feed too much water, so as not to cause root rot.
