Last Updated: 2024/09/19, Softened ginger sprouts are rich in nutrition, sweet, crisp and tender, storage-resistant and pollution-free. Ginger can be harvested 40-45 days after going to bed, and it can be cultivated all the year round as long as the temperature, humidity and ventilation are controlled in a suitable range. The main results are as follows: 1. the white meat ginger with high budding rate, full bud eyes, suitable size, positive color and disease free should be selected. It is best to break the whole piece of ginger according to the bud eye to sow, 32 buds can be produced per kilogram of ginger. Second, sprouting will immediately put a layer of plant ash on the pieces of ginger broken by the bud eyes for disinfection, and then choose a sunny day to dry for 1 or 2 days

Softened ginger sprouts are rich in nutrition, sweet, crisp and tender, storage-resistant and pollution-free.

Second, sprouting will immediately touch the pieces of ginger broken by the bud eyes with a layer of plant ash for disinfection, and then choose a sunny day to dry for 1 / 2 days, and turn it for 1 / 2 times, then stack the ginger seeds indoors (usually no more than 10 cm high), spray an appropriate amount of water, and then cover with fine sand to keep warm and wet. The temperature in the pile was controlled at 25 ℃, and the ginger could be sown when it sprouted but did not take root.

Third, planting the cement board according to the layer distance of 50 cm, surrounded by bricks to form a wall as a foundation bed. Use fertile fine sand with good moisturizing properties as bed soil, spread 4cm thick fine sand at the bottom of the bed and level it out, then arrange ginger seeds upward, generally 20 to 25kg per square meter, and then cover with 5cm thick fine sand.

Fourth, spray water immediately after the ginger seeds are arranged, and the amount of water should be wet through the sprout bed sandy soil. When most ginger buds are unearthed, spray water for the second time according to the dry and wet condition of the bed soil, and the amount of water should be wet through the bed sand. During the whole growth period, the soil of the bed should be kept moist without stagnant water, and the indoor humidity should be controlled at 80% to 90%. Also pay attention to spray water with fine sand around the bud bed and the top surface of the ginger pieces exposed strict, ginger seed above the fine sand thickness of not less than 5 cm.

5. The suitable temperature for ginger bud growth is 23 ℃ ~ 30 ℃. In order to promote multiple germination and rapid germination, the temperature of bud bed should be controlled at 25 ℃ ~ 28 ℃ before ginger bud was unearthed, 28 ℃ ~ 30 ℃ after ginger bud was unearthed before seedling height was 30 cm, and 25 ℃ after seedling height was 30 cm. When the temperature is low, the mulch such as film and straw should be added to increase the temperature. When the temperature is high, the doors and windows can be opened and water can be sprayed to the ground and space to cool down.

Sixth, ventilated ginger seeds go to bed, the room is sealed and not ventilated. After budding, especially a few days before harvest, the sprouts should be properly ventilated according to the growth phase of the shoots in order to improve the quality of the shoots.

7. It is generally appropriate to harvest ginger seeds 40-45 days after going to bed and when the height of the buds is about 30 cm.
